Great place. Of course it's not the best hotel on the world but still a nice cute place. Staff is really helpful and kind. Great restaurant where you can get almost all you want. I've been going there for years now and I'll still go there.

Good food and service

We were visiting for a family function in nearby St Marc and Le Chavigny was recommended by another nearby business for our accommodations and restaurant. Check in was frustrating as the rate we were quoted on the phone the day before (and is even publicly shown on the website) was NOT reflected in what we were actually charged, beware. We decided at 12:15A it was not worth an argument and just agreed to pay the extra $15. A language barrier didn't help our ability to negotiate the matter, but that was our fault, not the employees fault - we both did our best! :-) Hotel overall is moderate - the website makes it appear much fancier then it really is so don't set your expectations high, but the condition was decent overall and the room was very clean which ultimately is the important part. We ate breakfast the next morning at the attached restaurant and the service and food was excellent - the waitress did her best to accommodate the language issue (as did we using our admittedly limited French language abilities) and we enjoyed our meal. English menus were available, a nice touch.
