Restaurant La Perle du St-Laurent

Main courses are creamy sauces, not my like but still good. Cake for dessert is too sweet, but fits well with coffee or tea. Soup as starter is 100% my favorite in this meal. Nice atmosphere, i would still give it 4 stars even though food is not my taste. Will take someone who never come here before to eat but not my choice if coming myself again.

Well.. the food wasn't worth the wait. As far as the view of the river while eating dinner goes... 5 stars... BUT everything else was extreamly unsatisfactory. The meals were plated very poorly and the meal was bland and over priced.nnI had fish and chips for 30 bucks and I could have had better with a fillet o fish from Ronnie's.nnOur group was large 22 but we called a week in advance. Most people were done eating, including other diners, before my food arrived. One person at my table had a meal in front of her for 5 minutes before the rest of her table mates received their food.nnThe gathering was to celebrate a birthday and the menu was designed for us - a selection of meals. Sadly the first thing on it was sold out prior to our arrival.nnConclusion: the idea of the restaurant is good. The chef and the wait staff need to learn more about the restaurant business and the proper way to serve over priced food.

The great views, nice people and great food made this place our favorite in record time. Everything fresh and super tasty! And they protected our health by a super heavy scrubbing of the table we were about to be placed at. Thanks and Merci!

Simply Wow! First of all, the view was fantastic. It's on the pier, and the sight is breathtaking. I went there for the first time close to sundown, and it was magnificent. Then, I ordered the fish n chips and it was delicious. The portion was big and very filling. The flavor was perfect; I am very satisfied with what I received.nFurthermore, the service was extremely courteous and everyone was so welcoming. The cook, and owner, even came out smiling to talk to us.nAll in all, it was a charming experience, and a memorable time I had. I will most definitely come back. Sadly, the only downside is that this restaurant only opens during the summer, I believe. It was worth every to me.
