I found two great dresses and they were buy one get one half. The only downside was their air conditioner broke on the hottest couple of days. There were many times I felt I might throw up but I had to keep searching until I found the right size and style. I felt concerned for the employees. I will return because I love a deal!
Lots of good items but the staff is not as helpful as a traditional store. I also found an item I bought at least chateau proper that looked the same but was made with different fabric. Leads me to believe that they have same styles but different quality rather then the outlet having older season. For a lower quality not sure the prices are right.
Clothing and accessories are NOT outlet pricing. A dress for $189.00 is not a steal at $140.00. A 25% reduction in previous year's garments is not a deal. Those who make the decisions need to travel outside their office and check-out Outlet malls in the USA. Now there's where you get a steal of a deal.
Worst customer service by an Asian origin cashier, she refused to provide empty cardboard box for a fancy pair of shoes and also dis not provide an extra plastic bag. When I got home fancy shoes sparklings came apart because they were rubbing each other. I should ask management please kick out unprofessional cashiers in order to create more sales. I will never go to this location again.... Stop being cheap....
An African lady was discriminated based on her ethnic by store manager. She was so rude. We should speak against racism. Winnipeg is hot spot for racist people. Store manage abused her in front of many people and did not let her into the store. Speak against discrimination.
Coming from outside Winnipeg I specifically came in upon reccomendation to try this store for my first business formal clothing ever I was needing for a new job. Upon arriving at the location I had difficulty finding the right door to go into. The entire store front has a lot of adds for sales all over it. When I got into the store I found my items and went to try most on in the change rooms... I was pressed for time and couldn’t do everything. The staff at the change rooms were helpful in setting up. When I went to pay for my items the cashier forgot a large item of mine to add to the bill. I reminded her and she quickly rang it through on a second bill. When I arrived home, and over the next week, not all the items fit for what I needed. — Fast forward the next week I found some better deals of better quality clothing at another store. I soon realized these prices were in fact higher here than need be, and I decided to return the lower quality pricier items that didn’t work back to the store. Some worked and I kept for sure — Upon arriving to the store I now noticed one smaller sign by the door among all the other huge ones for sales saying that items were non refundable. I found this odd as the cashier had not taken the time to mention this at checkout, as one would believe a business should inform of such a case. I saw the same cashier and I mentioned to her I had never been here before and was unaware of this policy as I hadn’t encountered that anywhere else I have shopped for regular clothing in years. This cashier looked me dead in the face and said to me that she “knows” she told me. I asked her how she knew that as I had a hard time believing she could remember one lone person and specific interaction out of so many. She said in a very condescending tone, because she was in fact the manager and she tells everyone. I then inquired how then with the memory she forgot my large item I needed to remind her of human errors do happen and grace to be given. She continued to attempt to argue that this was not the case and she KNEW she told me. I let her know that had I been made known of this, I would not have spent that many hundreds of dollars in items should they potentially not work. She came down in tone and then did offer resolution after arguing, one that I could exchange the items that didn’t fit for alternative ones. I thanked her greatly and tried on and found some items that worked better. However, one item did not work sizing wise so I found one exact same price that did. When I brought them to the counter the other cashier rang them through. She got upset I had a different shirt and said to me that the manager told me only different sizes. I explained to her that actually she just said exchange... not that it had to be exact same thing. She did not inform me of this. This cashier was also snarky tone and said, “Well this is it, the last time we are EVER doing this for you.” In my head I wanted to escape this store at all costs having been belittled multiple times here and couldn’t help but think... “Yes this is certainly the last time I will EVER come here for sure!” Officially this was my WORST customer service experience I have encountered in many many years. I always do my best to be patient and calm in conflict, but I do not believe the staffing here were working to the same with conflict resolution. Instead of immediately jumping to defence and power status, they could meet customers with more patience and kindness to resolve. I cannot say I would reccomend these business practices and location to anyone else going forward.
Staff were not friendly or helpful. We live up north and me and my daughter love shopping there. But on 2 seperate occassions were looked at like we were dirt, got no help. I was there again on Sunday and again no help. The cashier saw me standing at the till and turned her back and continued to fiddle round with the jewelry until i knocked on the counter. I'm sorry but i love to shop and expect to be treated the same as everyone else and i do work hard for my money and i do have money to shop. I will be looking for a new place to shop....someone must want my business.
The store manager is soooo rude and racist. She yelled at us and didn’t let my friend to come in store. I’m sure she hates coloured people and she treated with us very bad
Store manager is so rude, she discriminates against coloured people and prevent them from going to the store for no reason, no idea how head office is letting this go. She yells at people and treats them so bad
Really awful store and terrible customer service. The comoany should do some work to ensure that the staff and management are trained properly. Used to shop there often but will not be going back after the rude experience this weekend.
