Too expensive for what you get: unfriendly check in staff a gentleman- this is not the owner- the owner is friendly who laughed with me in my face when I asked why room key number was different versus number on the cash register form. He also did not tell our room was in a diff building not marked Beluga and parking was on the adjacent lot. Consequently when arriving after dinner later that night we did first not understand where to park, tried to enter the wrong building and then entered a room with other guests in it manager came over as the reception is only staffed 1-8pm! and helped us and we also when requesting ourselves ! got a partial compensation. No working wifi in our room. Bed was uncomfortable too soft. So not a good relaxing stay for us. Room was very clean - that was great. Honestly it is just overpriced for what you get. Struggles to find good staff what explains the check in issue we had but still has a $$$ price without the service.

This hotel is well located, at walking distance from restaurants, the Bay boardwalk and whale watching boats deck. The room was a little cramped but somewhat comfortable. We got a 2 queen beds, with no balcony but a nice small living room area and a 2-seats dining set. The bathroom was small, but clean. The beds weren't much comfortable, and the bed linen could be updated. A little noisy at night, since the hotel it's close to a major road. We booked the room plus a whale watching package which was convenient, however the hotel scheduled the tour for us next day, early in the morning with no chance to change it. Also, WiFi connection in our room was non-existent.
Poor service with no service room available all the time ... I had 2 days reservation I couldn't sleep the second night, so I left one night before my reservation end. There was no soap in the room, WIFI doesn't work at all in the room. Breakfast is not worth its value .. the one with the package is not good quality even. Maybe it is good for one night only
Very cute Motel with excellent breakfast. The staff was all very kind and able to advise us on where to go. The rooms were very clean and had cute decor. We loved how close it was to all the attractions and really appreciated that breakfast was included. We would definitely come again.
Super clean room, recently renovated. We had a queen bed and a double bed, everything was perfect. The free breakfast was delicious as well! The location is great, but then again, it's a tiny little city so everything is close by. It was a bit pricy, but we booked it only a few days in advance in their busiest time.
The rooms are very nice, all of them with a nice bathroom with bathtub/shower and a nice room. We came to watch whales and it was very easy to book a tour a few houses down the street. They even have a pick up spot in front of the hotel. The staff was nice and friendly, but sometimes made some weird remarks.
We loved the location as it's within walking distance of everything in town. We liked the cosy little feeling of the hotel - it just looks adorable. The lady was very kind and gave us 4 K-cups for the coffee machine. She explained everything in town, and gave us a map. The room itself was small but we didn't care. There's no lift, but we didn't care about that either. The balcony was lovely - I just LOVED my morning coffee from there. The decor was nice - it gave us the right "seaside feeling".
Had a great time at the Motel Beluga. Better than the Hotel Tadoussac thats for sure. We had the most budget room because we booked late in the season. Even with our room we still had an amazing time. Check in was effortless. Receptionist provided us with helpful tourist information. Covid measures were followed. The room was super clean. Big enough for 2 people for our short trip to Tadoussac. We hardly spent any time in the room anyways. Furniture was all cheap Ikea furniture. Chairs in the room were comfortable. Bed was creaky but the mattress was comfortable so no complaints. Bathroom was also super clean. Only the shower pressure could have been better. Would have been nice if they included some soaps as well. Parking was easy. People will take your assigned spot so just park wherever. Wifi was ok, a bit slow at night when it was busy. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I'd definitely recommend this place if youre looking for the best hotel in Tadoussac.
Location is good, walking distance to the town and port. Ac worked. Had French channels and a serviceable washroom. The beds weren't comfortable though. Also at nearly $200 a night they could have included the $12 paid breakfast that was kind of pitiful. My wife got about 4 little potato cubes frozen Hashbrowns we were actually charged $2 more for 1 extra egg. A charge we were not warned about. And it was generally bland and unfilling. Reviewing prices for hotel tadoussac while we were there although full we'd prefer to try that next time over returning or any of the many other bnbs.
