I recently visited a restaurant that left me feeling underwhelmed again. Despite having a captive audience, the menu lacked variety and flavor. I ordered a wood oven-baked pizza, but it tasted almost industrially produced and lacked the distinct taste of being freshly baked. Similarly, the fish dish looked like it had been cooked multiple times, as evidenced by its color and texture. This wasn't my first time at the restaurant, as I had given it a second try, hoping for an improved experience. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed, and I'm not sure if I would want to give it a third chance. The overall ambiance of the place felt sad and empty, which was disappointing since the location could definitely use a quality restaurant. However, the service was one redeeming quality of the restaurant. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Their attentiveness made up for the lackluster food and atmosphere. Overall, my experience at the restaurant was not the best, but I'm hopeful that it was just an off day. I do hope that they can improve their menu and ambiance, as the location could really use a great restaurant.
Decent atmosphere. Service could be better, waited 30 min just to get the receipt. Food... Was sad to see. I had ordered nacho for 20$, plus 8$ extra for chicken. When it got to the table i started eating and it was cold. Chicken was in sufficient quantity to warrant an extra 8$ plus was cold too and the cheese wasn't even melted. I ate 1/3 of it the outer edge where it was decently heated but then I couldn't even bring myself to eat the rest. See in the picture. Let's say i will not got back there, 28$+tx for "college-student level" nacho where even the cheese is not melted after a 30-40 minutes wait for the food to get to the table isn't acceptable.
Great place! Our waitress MacKenzie was awesome but our food took about 1 hour to make it to our table. Not the end of the world but we had reservations for a show that night so we had to rush to eat. All was good.Food: 4/5
I visited "Le 1973 Resto Bar" last weekend but was very disappointed because although the food looked wonderful, after waiting approximately 1.5 hours we still did not have our food and were told there had been a mix-up in the kitchen. We had a show to attend and were asked if we wanted to wait another 15 minutes and take it to go... We ensured to give a 75% tip to our waiter on our drinks since it was not their fault but I would have expected some kind of apology or a voucher to make us want to return. Very disappointed and left very hungry for a 2 hour show.

Not that many menu options… good if your attending a hockey game and want something quick I guess. The Cauliflower wings tasted mostly of batter very little seasoning… wine options by the glass are limited, forces to by the bottle which is usually cheaper, but i wasn’t interested. The 1973 burger is served with sauces already… wasn’t mentioned. Very little details on the menu itself to help you make a choice… frites are good! Poutine was good but with cauliflower entrée, the meal portion was too big and well 18$ for poutine! Come on it’s potatoes, curds and gravy… our waitress was kind
This was our 2nd time coming here and it was our last time. Bad service from the waitress, Noemie. We waited almost 30 mins for something to drink, then and extra 20 mins for her to take our order. After 45 mins of waiting for our food order, we told her that our beers were almost done and if our food wasn't ready by the time we finished our beers, we were leaving. Her response, "ok, cest bon". As we were about to leave after a total of an hour and a half, we got our order a burger and fries from the express events menu and both our burgers were burnt. It was a waste of $67 and our time. We reserved for 5pm
