This lady won’t sell me the alcohol and said that I bought this for someone else even tho I don’t know what she talking about Hideous

friendly staff, good selection of wines, hard liquors, and beers. well laid out and lit and free of clutter. employees were always positive and i feel like they were the only ones in that area that are welcoming and warm.

There are 2 cashier ladies that are always very rude to me I assume because I look young even though I’m 25. When I come to them and say ‘hi’, they just look at me and the only thing they say is ‘ID’. One day I didn’t have it with me and one of the ladies just silently canceled my order, took the beer and started serving another costumer without any explanation. Every time I go there I just hope that I don’t meet any of them not to ruin my mood.

Worst LCBO ever. If you are just buying beers, I would suggest go to Longos downstairs. I wanted to buy beers, my husband touched one of my beers and staff asked him for his ID as well. which is okay but it was all my beers and I showed them ID. They said its the law, whoever touches them, has to show an ID. That’s not the law at all. So in that case if I buy a 17 year old kid some beers but don’t let it touch him/her, that would have been okay?? Ridiculous. Worst staff ever. 1 star because there is no option to give less than 1.

Update: I noticed friendlier faces recently; possibly a new manager too. Looking forward to updating this review. ----- Clean store. Adequately stocked. Grumpy old men with next to zero customer service running the show. Best not to linger too long or you might be tempted to use bad words.

Even though I live across the street from this LCBO, I actively try to avoid it. Incompetent, rude staff and a fairly limited selection! Better off buying your pints at Longo’s!!

Pretty good selection despite the size of the store. It is a weird location under the Gardiner but close enough to the surrounding condos in CIty Place.

Fairly good selection of common liqueursand spirits, not too busy either

First walking in was fine. I explained to the First Lady that asked me nicely to wear a mask; that the mask does stifle me and I carry my inhaler with me all the time. After getting everything that I needed I was viciously attacked by the employee and the manager. I felt uncomfortable unsafe. They were very rude about the mask as I softly tried telling them the mask stifles me. Manager came over used a harsh tone that I don’t believe you should talk to anyone like that. As you don’t know what going on. You can kindly ask. I felt attacked and will NEVER be coming back their. I’m writing a letter to their head office. And hopefully they can re-educate them on how to talk to people especially when everyone is going through a lot in this time.
