LCBO

Great selection compared to other LCBOs. Staff were helpful to find what I was looking for. Open later than some other stores.

My husband (who is on crutches) and I along with my 18 year old daughter went to the LCBO last night. I wanted to hurry since we were tired and had not been home from work nor eaten dinner. I went to pick a few different beers for my father birthday gift. I ended up getting 6. I could not carry them all so my daughter held 2 for me. We got up to the counter we placed them all down. The woman asked my daughter for ID. My husband and I said they were not hers. The woman said now that my daughter had touched them we could not buy them. In fact we could not even go get 2 more like them and buy them either. We left without buying any of them. I can't believe how ridiculous this rule is. How infuriating to have gone into this store to buy a gift and be treated like that. We are at their mercy.

The employees are always friendly and helpful. Almost always have what you are looking for.

The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the selection is good but the location is horrible. Very hard to get in and out of the roundhouse centre on very busy Howard Ave. I would like to purchase my wine elsewhere, but I can't. I live in Ontario, where big brother tells me where and when I can buy alcohol. The only other place in North America with this kind of archaic alcohol sales is Utah. And they're governed by Mormons. Here in Ontario we're governed by MORONS. The LCBO NEEDS TO GO.
