First time visit here. Welcoming staff , patiently took the order. Thank you Mohammad and hummaid for your generous service. I loved the chicken platter with garden salad. Chili fries were delicious . Good seating arrangement, washrooms were also cleaned .
I went in yesterday and got the combo for 4 And I can honestly say best bang for your buck shawarma I've had in a long time!! it's very good quality food and it's a very good price If you haven't been here try it I would say it rates in the top 10 in the Waterloo region and thats saying a lot cuz I go to 1 place new almost every week. There's only one negative that I could see and it pains me to say that they're hummus isn't that good but I could live with that they're hot sauce is awesome the toppings were awesome and the shawarma was very flavorful I say if you haven't tried it try it today....
I really wanted to like Lazeez Shawarma as I heard the food was good. However, it was absolute mayhem with the staff. It started with difficulty understanding my order and then the wait was another issue. Some items were done while other food was still deep frying. The fries with sauce and wraps sat off to the side for too long. When I finally got home, the falafel were nice a warm but everything else was cold. I’m sure if all the food were served at the same time, it may have been a better experience. Food was still good…even though cold. I definitely think some organization and training would help as I don’t think the staff know what they’re doing.
I got a regular chicken on rocks and I liked it. The staff was pretty friendly and unlike the waterloo location, they also offer 2 free toppings with a regular. If you get a large, you get 2 free toppings and a drink. I got my food fairly quickly. I went with Extra Hot 6+ lines spice level which is their spiciest option but it really wasn’t all that spicy.
Not what it used to be! Half n half is just full of rice with tiniest amount of fries, in both boxed we ordered. Their spicy sauce is not the same. None of it is the same.
Shawarma on the sticks with ONE line of spicy always hits the spot with a ginger ale… fast good and great price Be prepared though if you order that double garlic
I was so impressed by the staff. Talk about working as a team. Like a well oiled machine. I mentioned to my wife as we waited for our food, "If the food tastes as good as these guys work together I will be more than happy". Well the food was unbelievable I mean top notch and above. I would without hesitation more than recomend this place. I am a Barber and for sure will be sending everyone of my clients to see if they feel the same. 1000% guaranteed excellence.
Messed up half our order.. and there was a hair in our food. Not a good 1st experience. There were 3 people working here and it got pretty busy. They were getting backed up. We ordered 6 items and 3 of them were messed up when we opened our boxes at home We ordered a beef salad which we never got and a chicken salad which was done wrong mild allergy issues.another beef dinner needed up with extra meat that we didn't order. So half of our order was done incorrectly. Very disorganized. The main reason for was that all 3 people were working on the same order and they were constantly opening and closing our boxes and making changes cause they were quite disorganized. It would have been much better if one person packed each order ticket so it didn't get messed up. We were really looking forward to the dinner and were very disappointed when we got.home that 3 people didn't get what they wanted. The other 3 dishes were done well and were ok. Also their staff don't wear hair nets, which resulted in hair in one of our dishes. So A poor experience overall.
Standard Lazeez food but there are a few redeeming qualities of this location. The thing that really stood out was the excellent service, the people behind the counter were very friendly and patient. It does not hurt that this location is open till 2 AM. I went there at around 1:30 AM and the place was super busy but the staff were very patient, friendly and diligent. Would definitely visit again to satisfy late night cravings.
The staff is amazing!! They're very patient and accommodating of special requests. The food is always delicious and the spice levels have a good kick. One of the best shawarma places in the city!
