We were so happy with our BBQ purchase we went back to buy our kitchen countertops. The service and follow up was truly remarkable during the COVID time. Our sales rep Tiffany was so good and helpful through out our renovation. The new countertop is beautiful and we highly recommend Tiffany and Lawsons as your place to go. We also had backsplash installed by Mark who did quality work
I went to Lawsons to have a wood stove installed in my garage and I would supply any materials they need to complete the installation. Last Fall I had Tony & Dean show up to start the install of the wood stove. I made sure to be home this day to be able to run back and forth to the local Home Hardware to purchase anything they needed to do their job. Later that day Tony signs off for the WETT and then I provide the copy to my insurance. In June 2018 about 6-7 months after install I noticed my wall behind the stove wet. I contacted lawsons they said they'd come in about a week and I mentioned to the lady this was not acceptable I need someone there to prevent anymore damage. This was a newly built home. Tony showed up and had a look and denied anything wrong with the install and left, i proceed to grab a hose and start to spray the outside chimney to see for myself if it would leak and sure enough it started to leak I called tony back and he applied sillicone on the leak. This was June 25 2018. July 4th Scott from lawsons stops by for a in house view of the damage and says he'll send Doug or Wayne to fix the water damage. After a couple of weeks I don't receive any contact from anyone from lawsons, so I approach Scott and he keeps tell me that Doug is finishing up a job and will be there soon. We arrive into August and I start getting frustrated and show up to lawsons pretty much every Friday to get an update on the situation. Finally Doug shows up and says he'll be by on Friday and have the guys from Lawsons move the stove in order to get the work done. Noone shows up that Friday, this is about the last week of August I got into Lawsons looking answers. Later that day I receive a call from Stacey or Tracey who makes the install appointments saying she can book Tony to move the stove in about 2 weeks . again I said this is not acceptable we're 3 months from the start of the issue. Tony came that day and phoned me to open my garage door on my mobile since i was at Sobeys, 6 mins later Tony called again and told me he was done moving the stove and I could shut the door. The manager from lawsons then sent wayne another contractor over to look at the issue but after looking he called me the next day and only wanted to remove 5" up from the bottom plate but i refused since the water entered from roughly 8 feet above, then he said he wasnt not interested in the repair job so jason the manager advised me to contact my insurance company so I proceeded. My insurance company sent out DKI Restoration to quote the damage. My insurance company adavised they would not proceed with this claim since it was caused because of poor workmanship . I then had to contact lawsons insurance company to make arrangement for payment to allow DKI to come repair the damage. DKI arrived Oct 24 to start the repair,once they removed the blueboard we noticed the pipe was still leaking since it was raining outside. Tony claimed he had repaired the leak and he didnt not. if it wasnt for the rain we would have assumed his 25 years experience was accurate solving the leak. Later that day Oct 24 Tony arrives assumes the new water is just condensation which is impossible since theres no heat , so he asked me to grab the hose to start spraying the pipe without even knowing where i'm spraying since hes inside im outside . he then claims its the manufacturers locking band . I then spend a week contacting the manufacturer about the issue and they advise to send out a third party. Now we are into 4 months no heat no way to bring in my wood my the winter months because my garage is occupied by dust control and stoves and equipment I have the 3rd party wett tech come inspect the install and points out 2 errors . I call Jason oct 30 the same day the tech arrives and jason says that's his opinion . I've been through 4 months of nonsense with this company every week giving excuses or 3 wrong conclusions why the leaked happened from their expert, while this whole process took time away from my business and costed me money
Probably the worst place to do deals in Moncton. Went in April 2018 and ordered an outdoor kitchen BBQ, Stove and Cabinets. After waiting for 2 months did not hear from them. Returned and was told they could not find an installer. Found my own installer and paid in advance half the price. After 2 more months waiting we were called and order would not be shipped unless we pay the full amount. After paying the full amount only part of the order was sent and a mistake on a grill was made. When asked for the proper grill to be sent the manager Scott said the one I was looking for would not fit in the cabinet that we had. Still we had to pay extra $ 130 when the new Grill was even cheaper. After checking online I found out the grill that I wanted is the same size as the one he sold me and it would fit perfectly fine. It only means he is ignorant and incompetent or a liar. Would never deal with them again.
I went to Lawsons for some kitchen cabinets. I would like to thank the salesman, Yvon Williams, for giving me a really good service. I was really impressed with him as I could see that Yvon really cares about his customers. As for the kitchen cabinets I purchased, I really love them. Lawsons really did a good job installing them. I would recommend Lawsons for some new kitchen cabinets.
Ms. Ferris, It does not appear I can reply to your post nor create another post for your concern? We had tried on several occasions to try to come together on designs for you and unfortunately just could not connect. As said in our last correspondence, This is very unfortunate and sad for all involved. We believe you will be better served by another company in your area. Again very sorry for the inconvenience. This is not our actual Google review page, and it was only recently brought to my attention, and also why this is a post as opposed to a reply. I have personally looked into your issue and from what I have found, on the day the copper gas line was installed you had asked the gas tech. to change the location of the tank which required an additional twenty two feet of copper line. Our failing was that our gas tech did not have you sign a change order. If you truly still feel you were wronged please call my personal ext. #253 and I will happily arrange your additional cost to be refunded. Sincerely, James Lawson
WORST COMPANY EVER!!! CROOKS AND LIARS! Scott the manger sold me a queen size mattress in Aug 2016. I didn't receive delivery, until October! I was quoted 2 weeks. The mattress was DEFECTIVE. Gilles, the rep from the manufacturer SPRINGWALL, came to my home, inspected it and declared it defective. Scott did an exchange for another Springwall mattress, quoted me a delivery date of 8 to 14 days. 2 months later, and half a dozen calls, I was repeatedly told the mattress was enroute, ?from scouduc. Every time I called, Scott advised me he would call the manufacturer and call me back. He NEVER ONCE called me back. Finally, I called the manufacturer, spoke with JEAN and she advised me that they had NO orders from Lawsons for my mattress, and that they would have to construct it and it would take 4 weeks. I called Lawsons, spoke with Tim for the 2nd time, who had 2 weeks earlier, promised and GUARANTEED I would receive delivery of it the next week at the latest....the mattress wasn't even contructed....I relayed the results of my investigation to Lawsons and Tracy called me the same day to book delivery! The delivery men came, they were polite, then proceeded to hand me a bill for $57.44 for delivery charges!! I advised them I already paid for the delivery charge on the first defective mattress, and politely but firmly refused to pay. Scott the manger, tried to stick me with a 2nd delivery charge! I also purchased an oven from them, my only prerequisite was that it be white, self cleaning an inexpensive. After 6 months of use, I got the manual out to read the self cleaning instructions...the stove I was sold by Scott..WAS NOT SELF CLEANING!! I have never dealt with such lack of character or integrity from any company as much as Lawsons. If you purchase a Springwall mattress from them, FULLY EXPECT A 2-3 MONTH DELIVERY DATE. The staff lies right to your face, Scott smiles at you as his sales ploy, then rams a knife right in your back. DEPLORABLE!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!! ZERO STARS
After seeing bad reviews, I went against my better judgement and decided to give them a try for my kitchen. Don’t waste your time. I wasted a month with this company. Awful experience. Terrible management that can’t keep their staff in line. Their kitchen designer was beyond terrible. No customer service skills whatsoever and was incapable of creating an original design. Completely unprofessional.
Staff were very helpful, but process were a little on high side.
