Lavore's On the Hill Ristorante

We were at Lavore's on the Hill last Saturday night when "dzelinski57" came in. We did have reservations, and where waiting for our table. What we saw was very different from what was posted by "dzelinski57". She asked what the wait would be, and the owner responded very professionally and courteously to give him a minute to check. She proceeded, in a very demanding manner, to know what the wait time would be, and repeated herself several times. Every time the response from the owner was the same, he needed a minute to check and see what the wait time would be. Before he could answer, she stormed out. Our group proceeded to have a wonderful meal, in a timely manner. We would recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

We stopped at Lavore's at 6:00 on a Saturday night. We did not have reservations, but it wasn't that busy, alot of empty tables. Instead of telling us how long the wait would be, and to have a drink at the bar, the bartender/owner and waitresses ignored us. We stood by the "wait to be seated" sign for 10 minutes before deciding to leave. Went to Two Lakes and had a great meal.

despite not many customers in the Restaurant at the time, the waitress basically ignored us. When finally she came around to ask us about what we would like to order she went on about how busy her life is and all the places she works beside Lavore's. The bartender when asked about what beer they have on draft, we been told more or less in a rude way that they don't have beer on draft. As an Appetizer we ordered the little neck Clams that was advertised to be in a wine sauce. The Clams tasted fishy and the so called wine sauce tasted like it had brown sugar in it. As the main dish we had the Mushroom Ravioli and after what seemed to be for ever the Ravioli showed up with hardened edges almost like they dried out sitting under a heat lamp until the waitress finally picked them up to bring to the table. Needless to say we were very disappointed and do not plan on going back to this Restaurant

Coloma's best kept secret. Friendly service, great tasting food, and good presentation. We will definitely be back.

Service was good and the food delicious. Little pricey but still worth it.
