Lava Hot Springs Inn

I stay at the Lava Hot Springs Inn every chance I get, it's a real find. Interestingly rustic with a history. Rooms are comfortable without TV to waste your time better spent soaking in the hot pools. It's a welcome change from the the generic blandness so readily offered everywhere. Oh and lest I forget the great hot breakfast included with your say served in the basement in a quaint setting.

I should give a 2 but will be kind and do a 3. We have been coming to this place for the last few years at least 1 if not 2 weekends a month during summer and at least 1 weekend a month in winter. Our last trip was a mess, the place has really gone down hill. The pools are great and that is what keeps most coming back. They really need to overhaul rooms, staff and cleaning of the whole place. Sad to see a loved place just go down hill. Not kid friendly for rooms.

LOvE this place!! A few mineral soak options in the area. But love the artsy peaceful vibe of this one! It's also entertaining to hear the exit point of the floats on the river. 7 pools, shower room, have come here for 4 weekends from Salt Lake. As I am not used to city life yet this makes for a great getaway!!! Open all yr!

Location is great. Rooms need to be updated. And possibly a little more sound proof. We heard our neighbors all night long.

Nice and quiet but some of the pools were not running like the hottest one. Was disappointed by that. Also in need of much-needed upkeep maintenance. A little pricey at 12:50 per person especially without all the pools running. Also it was $2.00 for a small bottle of water. Ouch. Staff friendly and welcoming though.
