Lau Sun Mou Tea

We went to this store twice recently and got some tea for ourselves and as gifts. The tea here is delicious and the owner is very friendly! We really loved their Oolong and we will definitely return for more.

Basically a covid-zero way of buying tea ha. Fanny works really hard and the process of buying is honestly a show of itself. Give yourself some time and it’ll be a fun experience. Maybe dynamic covid zero is in the works?

Went there today, no in store shopping, press the buzz on the door, owner will come, if u dont know what u want, she will show u the menu, but i suggest u check their website be4 u go, it will be much easier if u know what u want, anywayz, there r other reviews mentioned language barrier which is absolutely bs, she is cantonese but speaks fluent madarin imo and she is very friendly and patient as well, plus their tea is very good, if u looking for authentic chinese tea, this is the place, much better and cheaper than Ten Ren.

We were looking for some good quality Chinese tea with reasonable price after the pandemic started. Its was difficult due to many stores were closed at the time but a friend referred this store to us. It is a bit out of the way but we thought to give it a try. The owner didn’t allow us to enter the store to explore but it’s totally reasonable during this pandemic. We saw that they carry many types of tea through the windows. Although it is kind of difficult to buy tea without smelling the fragrance but I respect the fact that they are trying to keep everyone safe. Can’t imagine if someone touched/smelled the tea before I buy them We saw that she took every safety precaution very seriously which made us feel very comfortable with her tea. She even asked us to call in from the outside of her store to talk to her. She patiently explained the tea origin and the aroma to us. We had great experiences ever since. Their quality and services has been consistently great. We also started to try a new tea every visit because we trust her recommendations. We have been very happy with this store. Wonderful place. Has a lot of tea varieties. I found the website helpful as I don't speak Cantonese. I found what I wanted and pointed it out to her when I got there. It was no-contact pick-up and pay. She was very helpful and confirmed what I wanted twice. It was a hard to see the grams/oz on the scale from the window pane but otherwise it was fine. When she printed out the price as per the grams, she showed it to me. Overall, I had a positive experience

The owner is friendly always with smile. She is very helpful in introducing and finding the best tea products. Price is reasonable with good quality. She always ensure the packing is in good sealed. You can also buy good quality of mushroom at a good price. Definitely is a good place to shop for your tea drinking.

Great tea shop. I discovered it a couple of years ago and only go there now to get my green tea. The owner is helpful, friendly and through the pandemic, has shown great care and caution.

Great tea shop. My buddy and I wanted just to buy cup of tea and the shop owner gave us 2 cups for free and we walked out. My tea was Mountain Oolong. Very fresh, floral and tasty. Came back to buy 2 bags and she gave me a special price with extra. Very good service, great products and price. Highly recommended

I learned about this tea shop from a some close friends who are huge tea enthusiasts. The selection here is great and all the teas are reasonably priced. Some of my favourites are the Jasmine pearls, ginseng oolong and the whole leaf green teas. This shop specializes in more traditional teas so you won't find any herbal/nut/spiced teas like you will find at David's Tea, but I have consistently been impressed by the range of floral/creamy/spicy flavours can come out of a pure tea leaf. Really great shop, and they have an online store! I would highly recommend. :

Lau Sun Mou Tea is a store from Hong Kong. The store has been around for more than a decade. There is a wide array of options at Lau Sun Mou Tea. Majority of the tea offered are more traditional than what you would see at David's Tea. The owner is very knowledgeable and provide a lot of recommendations. She asked a few questions and was able to recommend tea options for me to purchase as a gift. Once, she even offered a free tea sample on a very cold winter day. Everything is very reasonably priced. There are options at every price range. I highly recommend visiting Lau Sun Mou Tea if you are seeking something more traditional.
