Last Straw Ale House

We had steak sandwich, house salad and the perogy wraps. All were very good, though the steak was a little tough, especially for medium rare. Still pretty good though, flavor was definitely good.

My husband and I love this pub. We get take out all the time from TLS and it’s one of our fave patio’s to go to in the warmer months. I am outright addicted to their Traditional Club sandwich which I order without bacon -sorry, not a bacon fan and I find myself ordering it once a week! Look at that pic!! How can I not? Also love their onion rings, poutine, the truffle fries and the mini perogy pizza yep I order with no bacon too! and recently discovered their “Double Up” pizza which is fantastic I do add mushrooms and green pepper and husband loves their wings, dry ribs, hamburgers… there’s really not much on the menu we don’t like. Highly recommend.

My girl and I always enjoy going to the last straw. All of the staff are friendly and the atmosphere can be sometimes chill, busy or a party depending on the event they have going on. The main bartender we got to know is Chris. Chris is easy to to talk to, you can joke, laugh and he makes the best old fashion’s. The team is always welcoming and Chris always remembers our names. The pub is close to the house so being able to walk home is awesome. To Chris and the team at the last straw thank you for entertaining the both of us together and having enjoyable nights!

This place is absolutely the best for drinks and meals. The service is totally awesome and the food is exceptional. Came here for St. Patty's and the place was packed and even lined up out the door. It was unbelievable how hard the servers had to work, but they were totally amazing. A huge thanks to the staff front end and back end. Remember to tip your servers well....they deserve EVERY penny. I know I have have found my new local hangout. Cheers!

We went there last Wednesday as a group of 5, it was really busy and the manager Chris was very accommodating in welcoming us and getting us a table within a very short wait. Loved the atmosphere! I had the fish n chips which were amazing!

Chris is the man! Every time I walk in he knows just what I want, and don’t get me started on the service. Nicest people you’ll meet and they’ll get your wings to you as fast as they can. Easy 5 star, always my go-to bar.

I come here fairly often and have never had a bad meal, the food is always excellent and Chris is awesome behind the bar super friendly and great service

This place has great food and a down to earth friendly staff! Chris, the bartender, set the atmosphere with welcoming, high energy, personality. Even the patrons seemed to be having a great time at the bar. Definitely worth a visit!

Ordered off Uber eats last night and have to say this is the worst pub food I’ve had in a while. Nachos were cold and stale chips, bang bang shrimp was more like blah blah. And that buffalo chip wrap was soggy and no flavour. The chicken tasted chewy and like artificial meat. So gross, will not be ordering again from here. There wasn’t one redeeming part of our meal
