Darlene is charming and she makes a great breakfast. The inn is cozy. However, a few things need work. First off, beware that there are cats here. They are cute and well behaved. And that doesn't matter when you are severely allergic like me. The website should disclose the cats. Some folks love them, not me. Second is the beds. The mattresses are way overdue for replacement, too soft, and broken down, especially with two adults. The inn has that "cluttered country" look, where every available surface has some kind of knick-knack on it. Again, some folks love that. The owner mentioned that she's trying to sell it, so that may be why some things are not quite as spiffy as you might expect.

Darlene was a gracious hostess who served a delicious breakfast. The inn is beautiful and the accommodations top notch in a perfect location of town. And, if interested, the B&B is for sale! I hope whomever does purchase the inn in the future will continue her fabulous hospitality.
