I was in town for work and it looks like there doing some remodeling. After working in a hotel for over 6 years Im super picky, but must say it was a great stay! The staff is super nice. And my room was beyond clean at check in 😊

My wife and I stayed the weekend in room 108. Overall, the stay was pretty good. The service, though maybe a bit slow, was always satisfactory, and the staff was welcoming and pleasant. The room was pretty clean, and house keeping was very good about taking care of things. The continental breakfast was quite good, and had a lot of variety. The only real big complaints we had were that the room smelled a fair bit like a locker room, and one wall of the bathroom exhibited signs of a mold issue (no doubt due to the lack of a vent fan). Though I will probably not be returning for a visit (there are better options in Mason City), I wouldn't be too upset about having to stay again.

Pool was down, and renovations where beimg dome on the second floor. I understand that is something that happens, but full price for the lack of pool is unacceptable. One pillow in the room had a huge stain on it along with one of the comforters. Overpriced, and dirty bedding.

Before you pay for a room, check to make sure it's CLEAN! We were given keys to a DIRTY room. The bed had STAINS all over! That they claim can be cleaned in ten minutes (puke) After they get your money they do not care about customer satisfaction. Management was rude! Thank goodness corporate headquarters could give us a fair shake. They actually listened and cared about our concerns. I feel sorry for people that stay there:(
