I am extremely happy with the gentleman who fixed my lamp. This lamp was part of a set of 2 which I had for the last 10 years. The electrical corde broke down at the switch. I thought it would be easy for me to undergo this repair. Bought a corde and rushed home to fix it. Unfortunately, I couldn't access the connectors location. After calling around lamp stores I was advised to take it to Lantern Lighting Company. Got my lamp fixed without a problem. Loved that lamp.
Yesterday I took in my camping lantern in for a new bulb as the one in it wasn't working or so I thought. Sam tried a couple of bulbs of more or less similar size but the light they gave out was much lower than what I remembered. Patiently, Sam "fiddled" with the connections in the lantern and finally - voilá! - my old bulb was working like a charm. Thank you so much, Sam, for your persistence and impeccable, friendly service!
Very friendly owner but be aware there are no lamp parts for sale here. It is a repair shop not somewhere to find replacement anything. Maybe at one time at their larger older location but not now. They need to update the website
Hi was greeted by and given excellent service from Sam. He is very knowledgeable and his work was flawless. I took in 2 vintage porcelain lamps which he fixed perfectly in just a day. I highly recommend this Shop and Electrician. T.Frith
A real working store PACKED with lighting spare parts. Friendly staff. No place to sit while waiting for one of those “special time consuming no money to be made” customers.
Thought highly of this place before. I used to find missing parts to assemble unique lights, but my last visit was very disappointing. Store keeper was not helpful, discouraging and criticized items I wished to make work again.
Sam solved my lighting problem in under 10 minutes for $24. I was just about to drive four hours, have to drive to Chilliwak and spend $700 on an entire new lamp when he found the perfect solution, a brand new globe to cover the bulb, made it easy and stress free and provided service with a smile. Thank you Sam and Lantern Lighting!
Needing a specialized Panasonic bulb I searched in vain at all the major outlets and an online search sent me to Lantern. I should have called first since there was no answer at the door at first. Once in, I realized that this store was the opposite of the Big Box stores I had been to. Stacks of boxes pilled randomly and parts for this and that everywhere. Sam? recommended an adapter and LED filament lamp as a replacement. The search amid the boxes for the adapter began, first this pile of boxes and then another. He persisted. I almost gave up. Glad I didn't. Both bulb and adapter work better than the original and cheaper. An unusual but positive shopping experience. Thanks.
This is a good man who is very fair. I have bought lamp bulbs from him not attainable at the big volume stores and he fixed my lamp even though the Italian maker seemed determined to produce a lamp that could not be fixable.
Store repair person is very tactful and honest helping their customers. He was able to restore my antique table lamp, floor lamp and chandelier. He is very kind to help his customer. No wonder he is highly recommended by an electrician to fix lamps .
