Not a fan of the owner. I come to talk about the prices and every encounter is rude and uncomfortable. Not customer friendly at all, I’ve been there twice and each time was exactly the same. With the items priced pretty high, there’s no way I could commit to anything there, because other than the slim picks I loved that mostly weren’t tagged, there was nothing convincing me to pull the trigger. I gave it two shots and both times were a fail with the owner’s encounters. I don’t think it’s asking for a lot just to feel welcomed and appreciated in the store, and not to be scoffed at when you ask a simple question or explain what you are looking for. Very weird.

Favorite place to shop. I have been going there for over 10 years. My entire house is furnished and accented from the shop. The owner is beyond nice and helpful. Love talking to her and her decorating is amazing. See something new and that I want every time I go. It is a Treasure box. I would give 10 stars if I could.

A few hard realities about here. One, it's tricky to find. Two, the items are unique. Three, you will pay a high price for their uniqueness. With those out of the way, my review of the place is a solid 3/5. While I liked looking around at the items, my browsing experience was somewhat uncomfortable and the pieces were fine.

Furniture is nice, but the owner is unfriendly and rude. I was going to buy, but I did not want to contribute to someone like that.

I love to shop at Verve. Always has unique furniture and accessories that no one else has. The owner Kim is knowledgeable about period pieces, so much fun and very friendly. I drive from Williamsburg VA to shop this great store.

Owner was aloof and acted like she didn’t want to sell anything. Mad weird

This place has so many hidden treasures! If you like mid century modern items and good deals, come here.
