Story

9 Screens. Built in 1995. Operated by Landmark since 1995. The Kendall Square Cinema is located in Cambridge between Historic Kendall Square and Central Square near the intersection of Binney Street and Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, next to the MIT campus. Since opening its doors in September 1995, it has become one of Landmark Theatres' most successful venues. It also ranks among the most successful, beloved and architecturally intriguing homes for independent film, foreign language cinema, restored classics and documentaries in the nation. The Kendall Square Cinema has been host to many special events, including local premieres, benefit screenings and film festivals. Additionally, the theatre complex has won numerous awards, making it one of Boston's cultural epicenters.

It is an amazing theatre. Perfect for people in wheelchairs. The food items were good plus they also serve alcohol. A perfect combination of everything. The staff is very polite. Though they are working on a building in the vicinity; the entrance is through the garage.

Great seats, far better movies and atmosphere than the common Lowes. And if you're driving, $3.00 validated parking in the attached garage helps stretch your entertainment budget. Or use it to pay for the wine or beer you can have with your movie.

Not sure why someone complained about cost of parking. You can park right next door, get your ticket validated in the theater and pay just a few dollars. At least this had always been the case, I'll find out if it still is when I go this afternoon! We travel in from the burbs to see movies not on show anywhere else.

This movie theater with very comfortable seats. Be careful it's really easy to fall asleep

This is a great theater. They tend to have movies that may not be at other theaters in the area, their prices are reasonable (something that has been getting more and more rare in movie theaters), and the building is generally quite clean. Friendly staff and validated parking for the garage too.
