Since 1983 Lamplighter Preschool has been providing quality daycare to families in Napanee and the surrounding area.

Story

We believe that each child and parent is unique. Our inclusive program supports family interests and values in raising happy, healthy, and confident children. Our staff are committed to nurturing and guiding children to their highest potential by enabling them to explore freely in a safe, supportive, engaging and caring learning environment.

Mission

Our Mission is to offer a quality learning experience within a group setting while respecting and encouraging individual differences and learning styles. We strive to meet the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child at his/her own development level. Through our play-based program, stimulating, hands-on and age-appropriate activities introduce and develop preschool skills and enhance each child's creativity and sense of discovery.

Products

We are currently licensed for 32 children a day, with ages from 0 - 5 years old.

On November 21, 2015, we moved from 186 East St (our home for the last 30+ years) to 465 Advance Ave to expand our centre to include 6 Infants (0-18m), 10 Toddlers (18m-2.5 yrs) and 16 Preschoolers (2.5 - 5 yrs).

Enrollment options are as follows:

1/ Full Time - Monday through Friday
2/ Part Time - minimum 2 days a week.

Preschoolers $39.00 a day.
Toddlers $45.00 a day.
Infants $53.00 a day.
