South Washington Family Medicine's front desk receptionists- are not helpful nor caring when serving/dealing with existing & new patients that come in. They are rude when you ask them to do anything- and take their time. Would make patients feel like an inconvenience if you asked them for anything ; they don't care about your time, as they will help you- when they feel like it & have the time to.
South Family Medicine- does not treat their patients as a priority when coming in for an appointment or fulfilling patient health needs.
Every month I would call the automated prescription refill line & wait for that phone call that would let me know it was ready & could come pick it up from them; almost every month 2 days would pass after I had called my refill in, so then I would be the one who had to call them at the front desk; just to be greeted on the phone with rudeness while also finding out that my prescription had been ready at front desk & could be picked up ; The two older front desk ladies & Dr B's assisting nurse ( whom handles all the refill requests) would frequently forget to call to let the patients know their scripts were ready.
On a couple of different occasions, I had sat in the lobby's waiting room for 45 minutes or more ( past the check in time)- for an scheduled appointment with my doctor, only to be seen for by doctor for about 10 minutes or less. Definitely did not feel like my overall health, needs & concerns were a priority as one of their patients. Definitely felt disrespected at times by the front desk & nurses; and overall felt that the staff valued their own time more so then their clients/patients time.
