My mom went in to Lakeridge Gardens 3 days ago. She is settling in very well, the staff are very caring and attentive. She has gone to every single activity so far. They have tons of variety for the residents.nIt’s exceptionally clean and a beautiful facility.nWe were blessed to get a bed there. nThank you so much to our wonderful community care coordinator.nShe helped make this happen
My dad has been there since February 2023. He is fully mobile and has dementia. He is on 4 West in a private room. The facitily is very clean with state of the art technology to assist. Aside from being a new facility it's the CARE I would like to focus on. The PSWs and nurses there are so professional and kind. They gave realistic advise and we shared our expectations around personal care for my father. They are patient and gentle with all the residents.The recreational leader for our floor is AMAZING! She is engaging and always sees the positive in the residents. She attempts to include all the residents in activities of interest there are many fun activities here...so much so that sometime I want to participate even if my dad doesn't. I would also like to mention that the residents also look out for one another. They are kind, friendly and encourage others when they can. Realistically, residents here have a variety of needs and the staff does their best for accomodate. I have been very pleased with LG and I'm happy that my father has settled into his new home here.
My aunt lives here. The staff are so lovely and the other patients can be a riot as well. She is happy here so I really can't say anything negative. The building is new so is still fairly clean and well laid out. Most of the people who are here look happy to be here so I guess that's a good thing.
My review today Dec 10, 2022;nnBuilding looks clean & perfect. However, after taking a closer look into actual care provided for residents, I see staff are overworked.nnThere is always a PSW shortage and it appears the management has no concern in making the working condition better. “Most units are heavy and staff work short”.nService associates are also working short.nnI hear staffing was cut when all rooms got filled.nnI will be changing my 5 star review to 2 star.nnI will definitely come back to edit my review after my next visit.nnMy review over a month ago;n“An individual unit covers a large sqft area. All rooms are spacious and restrooms are too. Individual rooms for each resident with good nursing home range bed. I didn’t see hand rails. Dinning and activity areas are sparklingly clean. This review is totally based on the floor I visited.nnStaff are nice and welcoming, that’s actually the first thing you notice on entry.nnLooks good and new, let’s hope for the best in services”
My father died, they stole his queen to king size brown velvet like floral blanket. Have escalated to administer. Conducted investigations they claim they can not find it. Stated that unusual to get everything back except that blanket. Told them it must be internal theft. Administer told me I only have one day to pickup items when someone dies. I guess that means after one day they can legally steal your loved ones things.
