Passing for now. My family has 3 sites here. I was considering buying a couple of side by side lots but the $400 rate hike per site has me holding off to see if they actually do anything with it. Supposedly the rate hike was for updating the bathrooms, but it appears from this visit that they haven't even been properly maintained. It really could be a nice place, but I'm waiting to see if the board actually follows through. It doesn't appear like it, at this point in time. A smaller rate hike may have encouraged more people to stay and actually put more cash into the coffers for those updates. Another issue is the ridiculous rules they place for clearing trees from the lot that you purchase, and own, then pay $1000 per year. For a lot that I would own, I should have more say regarding how I would want to clear my lot to make it a long term enjoyable space, with safety as the first factor. Until they see the light I'm going to keep my cash in my wallet.

Could be a beautiful place, but honestly the board makes new ridiculous rules every weekend. And they can't make up their mind about anything even prices. you call and make reservations they promise you a lot and a price then you come and Oh guess what you can't have that lot anymore oh and the prices went up since 2 days ago, and no one even bother to let you know or even change the prices on their website. And then they tell us we need to get a seasonal lot to make sure we always have a spot. NO THANK YOU. It's always up and down with them. We come to get away from city to relax but leave more frustrated then before. So not worth!

Beautiful setting in the country with green fields of grass and tons of huge trees. Definitely not a parking lot type campground. That is all I have positive to say about it. Otherwise it is an absolute mess and I would never stay here. They are not at all set up to handle transients, it's more of a residential community. If you are planning to stay for a while, they need your social security card and run a background check. At first I thought that was nice, but after seeing the park, I'm guessing they have had issues with people in the past. Sites are heavily rutted up and trashy. Connections are criss-crossed, all the way at the back of the site, and unusable for us in a 5th wheel. The section they wanted us in was un-maintained, garbage left behind, full of poison ivy. Driving through the park we saw multiple campers that were absolutely abandoned or trash. Bathrooms were old and completely filthy. I was going to take a photo of the toilet and post it with my review, but my phone died. This place was probably nice once a very long time ago, but it's a total dump now. If you are desperate for a place to stay, I would suggest that you drive your car around first before you bring your camper out or book a reservation.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. We bought a permanent lot and became camper owners last year and we couldn't have made it the first few months without helpful neighbors and friends! Board is working hard on creating an updated, family friendly place to camp! Events include bands, bingo, hay rides and of course the golf cart races!
