Lake House Restaurant and Lodge was built in 1843 and rests on the shores of Canadarago. The lodge and restaurant are a secluded haven for those looking for a place to relax, fish, hunt, and simply get away from city life.

Lake House Restaurant and Lodge is host to our ever popular sulfur baths, which is great for your skin and has even proven to heal skin disorders and help relieve arthritis.

We were in Richfield Springs on a Sunday visiting the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We decided to grab some dinner somewhere close and the Lake House Restaurant was recommended, so we decided to eat there.What a happy accident! The food was absolutely amazing. Whoever the chef is, they know how to combine flavors and present their food well. I had a crepe stuffed with meat, cheese, and vegetables and savored every bite. The welcoming atmosphere is also great and the service was excellent. The Lake House absolutely deserves 5 stars!

We sat at the bar and had wine and the prime rib. The prime rib was as good as we've had anywhere. Service was great, and we enjoyed talking with the bartender and other patrons. In this baseball town, team allegiances are diverse. The local Yankee fans were pleasant to the rest of us. You'll be eating on the ground floor of a great hotel, but there are TV's to watch the game and a fireplace for ambiance if desired.

Love this place. A whole group of us were in town for an Elks Bowling Tournament and we ate here both nights. Highly recommend and I don't think there is a bad thing on the menu. Nice bar too!

Came here with my family when we visited the baseball hall of fame. This place came highly recommended. I ordered the stuffed avocado and my family ordered the pork chop. All meals came with a side salad. Salad was ok. The pork chop made my husbands eyes roll back in satisfaction. He said it was melting in His mouth and full of flavor. He said he never tasted anything better. And it was huge! 12 ounces. Plus there were other things on the plate like Veggies. Other than the museum I know the pork chop was the highlight of his day. I got the stuffed grilled avocado which is one of the 2 main vegetarian dishes. My dish was so full of flavor as well! So many different  things on my dish that made each bite so savory! That was for sure one of the best things I've eaten in a while. I would recommend this dish even if you're not a vegetarian because it is so good and very different to anything I've tried before.Parking was easy and the service was great and the restaurant was beautiful! I would come back here again for sure.

I recommend 100%!! We came late and the staff laid out plates for us to find our room and where the key was!! We slept through breakfast and they saved us leftovers and made more!! Friendliest staff in the world!!!! When I come back to Richfield Springs, this is my first choice
