Cooperstown KOA

About

We are centraly located to many attractions.

Story

Many folks come here to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and the quaint village of Cooperstown nearby, but there's lots to do around this quiet campground nestled in the foothills of the Adirondacks. This KOA is about 1 mile from Diamond Dreams, a fast-pitch softball park. You're just a couple miles from Otsego and Canadarago lakes, where you can cast for bass. Scenic hiking trails are close by. Local theater and opera provide first-rate entertainment. Amish neighbors make their way to KOA by horse and buggy for bake sales. Along with KOA's heated pool, bounce house, game room, banana bikes and hayrides, campers have plenty to do, capped by a lovely sunset in the hills. Enjoy the extremely spacious and grassy sites. Don't forget to ask about rentals that include Cabins, a Cottage, a Lodge, and Travel Trailer RV rentals.

Knew we would be running late to begin with. Called, got reservation and billing taken care of over the phone. Got to site about 11pm, found everything we needed waiting for us including easy to follow directions to our site. Grounds are immaculate, clean showers and bathrooms and super friendly staff. Will not hesitate to stop next time around! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful setting. The host was very kind. Our site left a little to be desired as far as being level, but we just stayed overnight. Loved that it was in the middle of farm country!

Amazing spot. Close to Cooperstown, extremely friendly staff who were very attentive. We stayed in a cabin for 3 nights, not 100 percent comfortable but 100 percent better than a tent! Would be 5 starts but they only allow wood you buy from them (I understand and agree with their reasons - Emerald Ash Borer is a significant risk). We found one of the bundles we bought to be too wet to burn properly. Also I found the cabins to be very close to each other. We had amazing and friendly neighbours but everyone could hear everything that is going on. Bathrooms and showers were always clean and the camp store had the essentials. We will definitely be back! Thanks Kate and Kaaren, you've made KOA kampers out of us!

We stayed overnight only. It is not a good traveling stop as it is quite remote. However, it is very close to the Baseball Hall of Fame. It is locared in the farmland of New York and is very quiet.
