Lake DuBay Shores Campground

Be careful people, this place will rip you off!! Had a cabin reserved in the fall time and put down a large deposit to hold. We live out of state and had our home for sale anticipating on selling in about 6 months. It sold in one day! With the house selling so fast we didn't need the cabin in the fall. Called DuBay to cancel and get deposit back ( over 4 months notice ) and they replied very rudely "We don't give back deposits". After talking to some legal people I could fight this and win because of the time frame but it would cost more than deposit. So be it! Word of mouth is the best advertising! Our entire family ( over 100 people) live in the Mosinee area and believe me they will all be warned, BBB will be contacted, CPA will be contacted and anybody else we hear that might want to stay at DuBay without knowing how they rip people off! What goes around comes around!! I would suggest to anybody to go south a couple miles to Rivers Edge Campground. Much better place and owners are honest!

This Good Sam RV Park is big and has many sites for rigs of all sizes. There are many year-long residents there, but plenty of room for overnight travelers. We stayed 4 nights and found it very quiet and restful. Sites are generally quite sloped and heavily treed. Getting our big 5th-wheel camper into our site was tricky and took some time to tuck it in among all the trees. While the pines are fine, you have to be careful getting in and out. We were heading east to Green Bay and highway access was fine. This camp has good boat access, and plenty of activity and playground sites for visitors. We'd go back in the future.

We toured but have never stayed. Sites are older and there are a variety of options on hookups. We did not find a good option as a FT'er. Lots of seasonal sites. Owners All Saints Lutheran Church 8100 Belden Blvd, Cottage Grove, MN 55016 really friendly. It is on a nice lake.

Extremely rude staff as indicated by a preponderance of reviews. Recommend that you look elsewhere. Security guard thinks he's a tough guy. Just a punk.

If you are looking for a wall-to-wall RV parking place, this may work for you. If you are tent camping, I highly suggest you look elsewhere. I wanted a tent site with no hookups for the night and was told $28. I asked if any of them were closer to the water so I could drop my kayak in for a few minutes before dark and she said there was. What she failed to tell me is they were $30 extra, and I failed to notice it when I signed the tiny credit card receipt until it was too late. Trust the reviews on this one. I wish I had.
