When we found out Lake Country Bakery might close we decided to get involved and keep it alive! We are currently transitioning into becoming Crafted Bakery and will be updating both the location and our menu. Enjoy freshly baked donuts, cookies, breads, buns, cupcakes and lots more!

Each time we visit this nice down home bakery, we have a great experience! The staff are always cheerful & patient when we decisions are hard to make! There seem to be no bad choices. This bakery has been around for decades. They made our wedding cake in 1985 and both of our daughter's wedding cakes too! This bakery store front may seem small on the outside, but the services are big! Don't hesitate to stop in and see what they have to offer!
Absolutely amazing! The options are a plenty, and everything tastes fresh out of the oven. Every single time I have visited the service is great, and my mood is always boosted! Not to mention the prices are great. Keep up the good work:
This place has cheap pastries that will knock your socks off... you better get there in the morning though, as early afternoon they are almost always close to being out of said pastries.**edit** I see listed on Google maps that it may be permanently closed, and as i havent been there this year, I will probably still recommend this if they open back up. I must disclose the reason I haven't visited as being the fact I didn't work in Detroit lakes this year...
Made a visit here this past weekend and we purchase some cookies and a pumpkin bar. They were so yummy and soft we at them all before we made it to our destination. I highly recommend this bakery and will be back.
I bought a fresh raspberry pie sweet rolls and a loaf of bread. So so sad this establishment is now closed. He will be missed by many
We had Lake Country Bakery make a cake and cupcakes for our daughter birthday they did great.
Good pastries. Avoid central market and Walmart pastries for this place. Been going there for 30 years
