Lakay Kusina

Had a wonderful dining experience at LAKAY Kusina. The dining area is small but fit our group of 10 people perfectly. We went for the Boodle Fight Box which gives you a sample of lots of different types of food. We went for the authentic experience and ate with our bare hands, and it was such a great atmosphere to just relax and catch up with friends. The food presentation was excellent and the owner made sure everyone had a great time and explained to those of us every single item on the table. And did I mentioned the food was yummy too? Towards the end we ordered a few of the Halo-Halo as dessert and it was the perfect ending to a meticulous dining experience.

Such good food and great vibes! Kind and passionate owner, homey feel food, cute ambiance and reasonable prices make this spot a great choice to support local. We got the boodle fight for 4 and it was so much food! Enough to have a full meal and take home food for leftovers to eat the following day. Overall very pleased with our experience and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting great quality food on a budget!

Went to this place as it was recommended by my friend. I wasn’t disappointed although the place is a little bit cramped but there are seating options available but limited. Food menu are typical of Filipino fare. I just ordered take-out for the Pinapaitang Kambing which I find okay but seems lacking some of the ingredients, taste is at par with Ilocano-style pinapaitan but I find the Lomi and Beef pares noodle soups almost taste the same except for the meat thats included. Other than that I would love to try the kamayan bbq sometime soon as it looks really enticing and delicious.

The best food ever. It’s like a fine dine in restaurant. Very cheap price. I don’t post much to make effort to review but they deserve more. Must try it. Love love

Delicious food and amazing service! Arielle was so friendly and helpful! I got the Boodle Fight Meal & it was very filling and fresh! Highly recommend if you're hungry and wanting to try a bit of everything! The grilled bangus is a delicious BBQ fish, perfect crunchy lumpia & yummy rice with pork. Vegetarian options: A lot of fresh vegetables! Kid-friendliness: Great community seating and unique baskets to admire

Had boodle fight. Was a lot of food for the price. Great quality food and amazing service. The owner is happy to converse and explain things about Filipino culture. Would recommend going here for sure!

Had a blast celebrating my 30th birthday here. I wanted an intimate setting with a fun experience and that is exactly what Ariel delivered in his cozy restaurant/ takeout. He closed down the business for our private event of 13 people. Food was absolutely delicious and abundant we all got a huge box of food to eat the next day! . Was not the biggest fan of the salty dried? fish, but loved everything else, even the fish balls and okras. I highly recommend grilled salmon, which he says is not usually on the menu. He is also a pro at taking photos and videos for reels a friend came back for breakfast and said it was delicious as well, can't wait to come back!

Made reservations for the Kamayan Feast at LAKAY Kusina. Sooo much delicious food! We especially enjoyed the pork belly, the lumpia savoury and sweet, garlic rice, and the different types of fish. Be prepared to take food because there is a lot of leftovers.

My wife was craving for Filipino food, So we decided to give Lakay Kusina a try. I ordered Sisigsilog and Tapsilog. The sisigsilog was spot on. The sisig had the authentic sisig taste and it was cooked well, the Garlic rice was seasoned nicely and the presentation was spot on. The tapsilog was the game changer for me. I have tried tapsilog from different Filipino restaurants and this one beats them all. The seasoning was just perfect, the tapa had a good amount of saltiness and the meat was very tender! Overall we had a good dine in experience, the owner was nice and accomodating. I am for sure coming back here. :

Highly recommended! Our host Ariel + his team were friendly, very accommodating and made my friend’s 30th birthday a memorable one! 10/10 Amazing experience with their delicious food and presentation, will definitely be coming back to try the kare-kare, noodles, calamari and halo halo!!
