Lac La Biche Stationers Ltd

My go to place for anything electronic. I enjoy going to a place where someone knows my name and is willing to help me out even if there is nothing in it for them. for example, I purchased a DJI drone from LLB stationers and It ended up needing some warranty work done. If I would have purchased this drone from a big box store, I would be dismissed and told to phone the manufacturer of the product. LLB stationers took care of that issue for me. There are countless other small things I can mention as I deal with this establishment on a day to day basis. But I'd be here all day.

EXPENSIVE. I’ve never seen a deal out of this place in my whole life. They’re ruthless about the prices. It’s like saying “where else are you going to find this and how willing are you to buy it”.. But they will never change..

I was in your store Friday afternoon, Dec. 8, 2017. Upon entering a sales associate, a young man with more muscles than customer service sense, was speaking with another customer (an RCMP officer). I was looking for an ink refill for a pen and couldn't find the correct one. I overheard the conversation behind me, something about "my new truck" and "gas mileage". I went next to the counter to get some service. As I stood there, the conversation between the two continued, about trucks, etc etc. Finally after a full two minutes, I said, "you just lost a customer" and left, extremely pissed off. I am a former small business owner and would never leave a customer standing there without some acknowledgement. He never even said "hello' or "I will be with you in a moment", it was as if I did not exist! Had he and his "customer" been speaking about customer service, I would have patiently waited until my turn. I am also upset that the officer did not say "excuse me after you" or something to that effect. I try to spend my money in Lac La Biche, I know what its like to compete with the Walmarts and Costcos of the world. TOO BAD BUT THIS IS ONE SMALL BUSINESS IN LAC LA BICHE THAT I WILL NOT BE FREQUENTING. P Chapman
