La Vieille prison de Trois-Rivières (MQCP)

Great experience. Tour was really informative. They don't offer bilingual tours when we were there but I was able to translate for my family and the infographics on the walls were french and english. Don't forget to check out the museum attached as there's a section dedicated to the prison. Our tour guide was nice, knew lots about the prison. I would recommend this tour.

We so enjoyed the tour of the old prison. Super worth visiting! We went for the English tour offered once per day in the summer months. Alexander, our tour guide, was fantastic!! He was so engaging to listen to, and answered all our questions throughout the tour. He really made it a great experience. Would highly recommend :

Very interesting tour with a friendly guide. I did it in French but you can ask for English tour at the reception it's not everyday that you can have in english!! So maybe it's better to get the information before to go.nIf you are lucky you can get some true stories that happen in the jail. I feel I little sad but it's interesting to know !

The tour guide was very patient and knowledgeable. The prison especially the hole is a very spooky experience. The only tging I felt was missing is more artefacts left by the inmates, like letters or writings, prison life stories... but was a good trip.
