We heard many great things about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try and we’re not disappointed. The food was great - we shared smoked meat nachos and wings - both were delicious! Service was great and price is also fair. The only disappointment was that we heard specifically that they had amazing pizza but when we arrived they said they aren’t serving their pizza right now due to staffing.
I went here yesterday for a celebration by a family who had frequented this place for years but we all collectively decided we would never come here again after our experience. First of all, the pizza which was the main part of the restaurant, was not in operation Not a single person to work the 3 ovens apparently? and we were not told this by the staff at any point only until we pressed about it. The menu without pizzas was super limited. The drinks on the board outside were also not available why are they on the board? Regardless, we ordered. My pasta dish which was $19 before tax was just boiled pasta with absolutely no vegetables or ingredients in it. Another person's lasagne came cold, another person's chicken dish was absolutely tiny chicken was about 3 inches with a small amount of rice, another person who asked for more sauce was charged $1.7 and then was charged $0.7 for an extra pickle on top of an everything. Everyone's meal came to an average of $45 with one drink and one meal. This was way too much for the price and I'm absolutely flabbergasted they opened the restaurant with this level of service. I don't recommend any one to come here until they completely change their management and I'm surprised they have customers at all. It apparently once was a great place but sadly, not any more.
Surprisingly good hamburger. Tasty pizza. Excellent service from Genevieve. Big spacious restaurant. Looks like they’re prepared for big groups. Big parking lot. It's casual but they portions are big we had nachos with chicken. We were so full we ordered only a Philly steak sandwich that we ended up bringing home. Parking: Lots of parking probably 30 spots and it's a good thing because it was very busy Wheelchair accessibility: They have the parking and the ramp to easily get in the restaurant.
We had the grilled steak with shrimps and the grilled chicken with shrimps. The food was great. The fries were crispy and not too oily. The steak was cooked very well. The steamed veggies are great. Normally they just taste bland and watery, however this time the veggies were very tasty. The chicken was a little dry, but that is understandable because it's chicken and you have to cook it thoroughly. The rice was also a little bit bland to my taste. However, they did provide lemon and butter with the plate. I don't really like butter on chicken or rice but I suppose that is a way to make it less dry. The shrimps were amazing! Nonetheless, we have no complaints. It was a great experience.
Known for their pizzas and did not disappoint. This is a big place that’s popular with government workers. We went during lunch on a Friday and it was packed. I got the smoked meat pizza and my friends got the smoked meat poutine. We all enjoyed our dishes very much. The service and atmosphere are also great.
Large spacious restaurant, mostly inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the pizza and it was perfect. I would absolutely eat here again. The one down side is there seems to be a few gambling machines near the bar area, I think it is distasteful with regards to the rest of the restaurant and the atmosphere.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious and the service was top notch, however, pricing seems high for this type of establishment. They have a very high table turnover and should be able to offer competitive pricing. A child meal at $14 is much higher than comparable restaurants in the city, which usually goes for around $9. Portions could also been bigger for the price.
We enjoyed Eggs Benedict and the typical 2 eggs with potatoes and toast. Both arrived still hot and well presented. Hollandaise sauce thick and tasty. Other places, aside from long waits, we visited had a bland sauce, needing sault to be palatable. Etienne R was our server, with quick, courteous and professional service. Definitely worthy for return visit. Thank you!!
This used to be one of my favourites, and would come here often. I have now returned to it after the pandemic and it has greatly disappointed. They used to have a varied menu but it now offers a very limited choice. We had four different plates and all four were poorly prepared, including a wood-fired pizza. They lost me. Won't be returning.
