La Shop BMR

What a cool shop idea! A new spin on the local hardware store with a much more diverse selection. I was extremely impressed with the variety of products and the store layout. Also bigger than it looks from the outside.

Everything we need for our home has been found in this store, with very helpful and useful advice from the very friendly & knowledgeable Pierre. We even bought some of our outdoor plants to help beautify our windows!

I only discovered this hardware and home goods store recently when taking my dog for a walk as I’m new-ish to Griffintown. So happy I found this BMR location! To have a store of this size, with this selection of product and prices that I have compared to be better priced than Home Depot and Amazon! The store is beautifully laid out, clean and well organized - very refreshing considering the state of retail in recent months. I definitely will be supporting this location and I recommend everyone check it out for their holiday line of decor and products!

Pierre was awesome. He is very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me advice and recommended the right product for my needs. I would go again just to say hi to him.

This place is not a hardware store. They carry next to nothing. One type of quarter round. No selection of wood. Hardware department is so lacking. Caters to the wealthy condo owners in the old port. More chance of finding a remote controlled helicopter than that piece of piping you need. Customer service is good.

Great store for the area. Part hardware store basics, part specialty and decor. Paints, shelves, lights, small furniture for indoors/outdoors, etc. It's like a small Canadian tire in terms of both the hardware basics and specialty/decor. It's perfect for the area and the needs of condo dwellers in the Sud-Ouest region. Entrance is on Peel next to Alt hotel. It's quite big, 2 floors though the 2nd floor is a small mezzanine, they carry 25% of the stock of the regular BMR and you can order anything from the regular store to get it shipped there and you can also price match the BMR flyers. Prices are very reasonable and they have a 10% off regular priced items every 1st Tues of the month. They also have a lot of cool specialty items like live edge wood build it yourself tables and benches. The staff is nice and friendly.

This place is really really nice. I just popped in for the minute key machine, but the place has a good selection of supplies even pet supplies. People that work there were very friendly

I usually hate hardware stores but this store is so modern, clean, crisp-looking, and the staff is super friendly!! I will 100% make this by go-to hardware store. #sorrynotsorry Rona/Home Depot

Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is that it's a smaller store, so less selection. But for general, everyday needs it fits the bill.

Great service, we had a defective item and received great customer service from Pierre! Our dog also loves going into the store as she knows she gets treats!
