Yummy yummy! Service could be improved but the quality of the food is way above average for Windsor-Essex county. Brought me back to Europe! I recommend every dish I got — though the pasta dish lacked some flavour but the noodles themselves were excellent. Wish there were more restaurants that made this style of food.
It was my first time coming over to this restaurant. We had amazing birthday dinner treat for our friend Jan . Our server Was so attentive , keep on asking if we need anything else or any questions. Quiet admirable exceptional service . All staff are friendly and accommodating, Cozy restaurant, nice and clean. On top of excellent service , birthday cake was offered to us on the house. Appetizers yummy . We really had great time with delicious food .
My first visit and I was very pleased. Our server Brittany was amazing. She made recommendations that were spot on and so friendly which made our whole experience wonderful. The complimentary bread was so delicious I had to fight myself from eating it all so I could leave room for my dinner. I had veal parmigiana and my husband had pizza, both were delicious. I will definitely would be back and would recommend them to friends.
I never do this, but this review was a MUST. I wish I could give negative stars, but thats not an option. On September 3rd, my family and I ordered takeout, after we picked the order up and went home we realized we had been given the wrong order mistakes happen. When we called to let them know they said they were sorry and that our order was sitting there ready. So my sister headed back to pick up the correct order. Our food was cold, tasteless and un-edible, so I called to let them know. The girl on the phone said the manager would be in at 8 and would call me right away to do a full return. As you can see in the picture, the food was still around the next the morning when I called AGAIN because I never received a call from the manager. The girl on the phone told me she was so sorry the manager didn't call, they were busy and that he's now on vacation until Tuesday, but will call then. Tuesday came and went and nothing. Since then I've called multiple times and am never given the manager and have written many emails, and nothing. Overall I would NEVER recommend anyone wasting their money here.
We decided to go to La Rucola for some food between the two sessions for my father's service. Food was great, we got the shrimp, calamari and pizza for aptz. Then Caesars salad, pasta, stuffed chicken, potato's and green beans for entree. All were great. Service was great and staff were accommodating. Definitely recommend this place.Food: 5/5
Went there Friday night for son-in-laws BD as a surprise.didn’t turn out to b a surprise, cause when daughter came in with the BD boy and family, they told her after 6 minuteshave seat at the bar, she then replied we have reservations, and the manager said oh your table for 10 is in the back. Didn’t get drinks for 1 1/2 hour. They brought one little basket of bread for ten people, had to ask repeatedly for a single glass of water. Service was deplorable, food was mediocre, shrimp appetizer tasted so fishy we couldn’t eat, mushroom caps were mushy and also had a foul taste. Dinner wasn’t any better. Chicken parm, 3 of us got and there sauce had a very different taste not a great one I do know what Italian cooking or fine dining Italian taste like and they are no way near. The music was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other, the manager said they just turned it down, I believe he turned it up. Most frustrating experience ever. Inexcusable experience, there was 10 people that will never go there again. What a shame $600+ Ps: I have never commented before on any place, but 3 hours for a disgusting experience left me No choice.. Dinner Beware!!
Pleasantly surprised, cheese especially on antipasto platter was amazing, grilled octopus was wonderful, risotto was the best I've had, great job considering lately the comments I've heard was a hit or miss on quality. Attended for a dinner and learn , definitely need a screen for presentation and curtains did nothing for the noise , perhaps doors to the separate room would be better? Parking: Enough spots Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
The food was reaalllly salty. I loved the atmosphere, the wine was as good as wine usually is. The waiter got our order wrong but he ended up leaving the correct meal in a to go container. We all had a good bruschetta, but only had 2 or so bites of each dish due to such large amounts of sodium. I had the panceta with mushroom cream sauce, my children both had Gnocchi and my husband had seafood pastaoriginally supposed to be just muscles the muscles were not fresh. My older child spat her first bite out and didn't eat any more. My younger one finished her plate and then said she had such a bad stomach ache she cried on the way home. I sympathize with the waitress who may be new, but the cook was clearly having issues. We took nothing with us, and me being 3 glasses of wine in, I was quite upfront about my displeasure. The waiter apologized but that didn't make up for my husband's botched birthday dinner with our children. I asked my husband if he'd like desert he laughed joking that he might not be able to taste the sugar over the salt. A severe disappointment.
Pasta imported from Italy. Best I've had, hands down. Linguine Pescatore was absolutely fantastic! Ceasar salad super yummy too! Would have preferred regular Italian bread to the flatbread served, but other than that it was perfect.Food: 5/5
Fast and responsive! They provide family Meal deals which is incentive to help support businesses during these times. Their chicken Parmesan portions are HUGE, the pasta is a large tray and so tasty, salad dressing is tasty and I LOVE when arancini is included. Top quality food! Larger portions than other local Italian provide. Thank you!
