Worst Iraqi food I ever had in my life. They served the rice cold and over coked. The hummus plate so small. The tables not clean and the place smell really bad. Not worth the visit. Its an over rated restaurant.
It's small cozy restaurant .. delicious food and the owner very generous! I liked the Mix grill and the quzi I tried the fish Masgouf it cooked well but the taste of the fish it self not on my taste .Food: 4/5
Very very good food. Hadn't had iraqi cuisine before and decided to visit on a whim. Definitely do not regret. Had the mixed grilled meat platter, Biryani, and three of the kubba/t options. There were three of us and we ordered 1kg of meat, rice, free bread, and 3 kubba and we were completely full. Definitely a good place to share some food with friends. As you'll notice, we were already digging into the meat before I was able to take a photo...
Yummy Iraqi food! Nice decorations and the owners are so nice and attentive.
It was my first time visiting Canada. I wanted to try some ArabicIraqi food in 2 years. I went to this amazing restaurant. The food was so testy and it reminds me of my home country Iraq. On the other side customers service was great. I really loved the people who work there. They seemed so nice and helpful. I’ll definitely visit it again.
Had the fish with eggplant salad and marinated veggies, yummy. Great service.

If you are looking for a best home made food , this is the one. The owner and the workers are very welcoming.. I tried the fish , it was fresh and delicious. The Resturant deserves the visit.
Excellent Iraqi food in the heart of Montreal. My husband and I are big fans of masgouf grilled fish, the national dish of Iraq, but it's not easy to find restaurants that serve it; when we found out that there was a restaurant in Montreal that served it, we knew we had to go there on our upcoming vacation. We ordered the masgouf, hummus, tabbouleh, and samoon Iraqi rolls. The masgouf was sublime, grilled expertly and unbelievably tender. The platter it came on was garnished with whole scallions, parsley, and torshi pickled cauliflower and carrots, and served with a fantastic turmeric sauce. The hummus was creamy and garnished with sumac for extra tang, and the samoon was baked fresh. The tabbouleh wasn't the best I've had, but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. My dad had tea after the meal, and he appreciated that the sugar was served on the side Iraqi tea is usually pre-sweetened and quite heavy on the sugar. This is definitely a must-visit when in Montreal.
