We came to La Noisette for our gender reveal cake. They did an absolutely amazing job. The cake was exactly what we asked for and it tasted so good. It made our day even more special. Thank you so much Lihini!!!!
Early start today, with a walk to La Noisette Bakery at Bellwood Plaza on Oxford Street east in London. It was super cold. But we had to try this thing called Bagel Bombs! So we purchased all the flavours. How else do you find the best one? The flavours are jalapeno, veggie, classic cream cheese and bacon breakfast, pizza and Philly cheese. Lucinda thought they where good, pizza being her favorite. For Me it was a toss up between the classic and the jalapeno. The veggie was my least favorite it seemed to me to just be mostly caramelized onion. The price is $3.50 each or 6 for $17.00. They look small but don't let that fool you the are very filling
If I could give them 100 Stars I would. Kate went above and beyond with our custom birthday cake. We were astonished, it really was a memorable experience. Will go again, highly recommend
When deciding on a bakery for our wedding cake, La Noisette came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! My husband and I tried their cake tasting box to try their various cake and icing flavours and instantly knew we were making the best choice! Tabitha was incredible to work with as she was thorough and prompt with her responses from the beginning. She was very kind and patient as she helped us through the process and answered every question we had. Kate did an amazing job on our wedding cake and it was exactly how we had envisioned it! Everything from the cake and icing flavours, the icing style, to the fresh florals we opted for, turned out better than we could have imagined. Our cake was not only beautiful, but it tasted amazing! I cannot recommend or thank La Noisette, Tabitha, and Kate enough for delivering our perfect wedding cake!
I feel terrible writing this review. Not for La Noisette, but for my husband that thought he made an effort surprising me with an ordered, specialty made birthday cake. The cake looked delicious. Wonderfully decorated, but it was clear that the cake was far from fresh. The cake tasted like it had been baked a week previous and had dried out. Terrible. I actually worried that it was off and I'd be sick. Worse thing, the lady that sold the cake told my husband it was baked the same morning he picked it up. Clearly a lie. Tossed it in the garbage. $45 dollars for dry, old cake. Go elsewhere to order a birthday cake or you'll be disappointed.
Best bakery around. Everything is beyond delicious! I am hooked on the fresh bagels, bagel bombs, fritters, cream cheese, shortbread cookies, dolly squares, date squares, the list could go on and on. Keep up the amazing work! :Food: 5/5
Picked up some bagels and hot crossed buns. Bagels are really chewy and dense — which I actually really like, but might not be everyone’s thing. They are definitely fresh, they were still warm when I purchased them. I preferred the everything to the sundries tomato bagel, as I found the sun dried tomato bagel didn’t have much flavor. We picked up a pack of hamburger buns, which were also pretty good. The main purposed of my visit was for the hot crossed buns, and they were just okay. I found them to have a very strong nutmeg taste. Almost like someone accidentally put too much. I am not sure if this is normal — as I have never had a hot crossed bun where you could taste the nutmeg so distinctly. I felt this really took away from the overall flavor as it was all you tasted. Otherwise, they were fresh, well baked, and had lots of fruit in them. I would be interested to try them again to see if it was a mistake?!
Best bakery in town, full-stop. Many claim to be made "from scratch" or with "real ingredients," but few actually do it. Great people, delicious food.
I like the taste and texture of their bagels and their coffee was nice.Food: 4/5
