This place will bring you to paradise while dinning outside! great place for a summer day, they also have a live band at night on weekends! the food is authentic Mexican style and very flavorful, just remember to save space for dessert! Friendly staff & great pricing! might need reservations on evenings when the band plays so call ahead!!!
The best… I repeat - The best Mexican food in the GTA probably all of Ontario… the food is rich and flavourful with a great blend of mild spices unless you ask for extra heat and the atmosphere is the best - bright colours and dim lighting with a live band almost every night! The music is a little loud but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. A fun atmosphere where you don’t feel rushed or pushed out even when there’s a lineup waiting to get in.
We came around 6 on a Friday and had to wait for a table, I would recommend making a reservation! The staff were so friendly and kept us updated while they found a table for us. The band was AMAZING! The tequila menu is huge and has something for everyone. We had the Azul Bulldog which was blue, and the platter for two which was SO big, we were so surprised by the portions. We started with the Trio and cleared the plate. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. The energy in the restaurant was fun and the servers were dancing and enjoying themselves with the guests. I look forward to coming back to this restaurant and I will definitely make a reservation next time!
While I haven't explored the area a whole lot, this restaurant definitely has some the most character when you're driving by. The live band and that Mexican restaurant look definitely helps to make it stand out. The food is all so good . The only couple of things I noticed but don't want to hold against it was that some of the dishes/cutlery weren't as clean and the service was a bit laggy. This is no hit against the kitchen or the servers--everyone was very nice and hard working. I just think that it was really busy and maybe they struggled a bit to keep up. Either way, I'm happy this place is around and will be back. Felt good to be there. Kid-friendliness: There's a kid's menu short, but there are options. Parking: There are maybe a couple of spots in front, but there's more in the back and across the street. Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose Intolerant and they were able to accommodate.
Dropped by for a quick dinner after a movie but it turned out to a Mexican fiesta! Vibrant wall colors and decor greet you as you enter the restaurant and the love music had the patrons grooving.. it was a full on party! It’s place and a lot of people so it can get very crowded. After a 40 min wait dodging trays of food, we were finally seated. We had the Mexicanada and pinacolada and both drinks were really good. The nachos were crispy and warm albeit oily. The pizole was my favorite. Not super spicy with a nice strong oregano flavor. We also got burritos and they were amazing. Will definitely make another trip to try other dishes. Worth a stop.
Absolutely amazing food! Fantastic service, cosy ambiance with live music, great decor and unbeatable prices! I am a super picky customer and I am in love with this place. Kids were also very pleased with everything. We will definitely be back
Had LA Mexicanada not done the popup restaurant at UCM, I may have never gotten to taste their AMAZING food! All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. We ordered the combo meals. Perfect portions, full of toppings, very very delicious and filling! Worth every bite. My personal goto place now!! Keep up the fantastic work!
So in love with the crispy pork tacos, that's my go-to order, but anything else I've ever snuck off another plate has been delicious, as well. Definitely check out Mexicanada the next time you're in, or passing through Bradford!
We took our hockey team 28 people to La Mexicanada for lunch. The food was fantastic, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great! They were very accommodating and great with the teenagers, and we know that a group this large can be overwhelming. I really can’t recommend La Mexicanada highly enough. We can’t wait to go back! It’s worth the drive to Bradford!
Hire more staff or have less tables they can't handle too many tables I am blown away at how bad the service here was. Absolutely the worst wait for everything. 15 mins before we got our drink order taken, another 15 before it arrived, 30 mins to get our food, they never came to check how anything was or check on our empty drinks, and we had to chase them down to even get the bills. Live band was good but felt like I was in a night club. This is not a place you go if you want to talk to your table. Disappointing because the food was actually very delicious.
