We had an amazing experience here. The owners of the restaurant is a really jolly chap and the tacos we were served were absolutely delicious. We will definitely visit again if we are in town. We wanted to try their Mayan cupcakes but looks like they are heavily in demand and they were out of those two of the days I tried. Try the pulled pork tacos, they were our favorites. This place has a bunch of vegetarian options too.
As a person from Mexico I can say these tacos are authentic and the best ones you can try in Peterborough. I have been at this place in different occasions and all of those times they reminded me the flavour of home. You must try jarritos with the tacos and different salsas!
Got the 2 can dine combo, 3 tacos and a mango salad each. The mango salad was incredible, definitely the star of the show for me, the tacos a close second, both so flavourful. Honestly could be the best Mexican food I have ever had. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of being served by the owner who was beyond genuine and kind, you can hear and see the passion he carries for what he does in the way he treats his customers. Me and my girlfriend could not stop talking about the food or the owner the whole way home, if you’re in Peterborough… come here. You will not be disappointed.
Love the vibe of this awesome little mexican restaurant! The chef is super nice and creates delicious food. I had the taco trio all vegetarian and OMG! Between hubby and son they tried 6 of the meat tacos and they were super impressed. 2 of us are celiac and felt very safe eating here. Definitely on my return to list! Vegetarian options: Awesome vegetarian options, highly recommend the mushroom taco. Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable about gluten, a safe place for people with celiac disease.
Certified Masarap Filipino word for delicious!! We really enjoyed the tacos and quesadillas here. Truly authentic Mexican food! Went here before heading back to Toronto. This is where I found my new fave drink, the Jarritos Mandarin! Will come back again soon!
This place is a must visit if you’re looking for tasty, authentic tacos and an excellent vibe. The owner is super friendly, kind and made our meal even more enjoyable. The young person he has working with him also did a stellar job. I highly recommend ordering the platter of 12 tacos if you’re not sure what to order and want a decent variety. It in my opinion is too much food for just two people but I think it would be good for 3 and perfect for 4. We’ll be back!
Amazing food! We had ordered lunch at the dealership, and we weren't really sure what to order. We had asked Martin to "surprise" us. He did! A beautiful assortment from his menu was delivered and it was incredible. Everything is authentic and the flavour of his homemade food and sauces was incredible. If you haven't tried their food yet, do it. You wont be disappointed!
This place is amazing! The owner is a great guy. Super friendly and has a lot of good stories. The food is absolutely fantastic. My wife and I had the tacos and they were the best we have ever had. Everything is so fresh and packed full of flavour. Even bought some of their homemade hot sauce, which is incredible. Would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Eat here!
Was not expecting to eat the best tacos I’ve ever had today, but that’s exactly what happened when I walked into this place. I got the Taco Trio and each one of them was do delicious. Loved them so much I had to buy some hot sauce on the way out as well. I’m kind of glad I don’t live nearby because the food they serve here could become an addiction. My mouth is still burning and I love it!
Service was fantastic, Martin is very friendly and has so many good stories. We ordered 3 dishes and they were all delicious and made so fast! Martin even told me that their meats and tortillas are gluten free! Bonus for those of you who don’t eat gluten. Pics of the meal attached but they REALLY don’t compare to how good it really is.
