La Maison Verte Restaurant

We came here on family summer vacation back in 2018, and decided to come here again to refresh our memories. The results are excellent. We came on a Wednesday evening, staff were very friendly and tried their best to accommodate us non-French speaking customers. The food quality has maintained well, and actually we think it is well above average compared to some formal dining French restaurants. The ambiance was very relaxing, and due to its location by the river, the evening breeze made the night more enjoyable. The price tags are reasonable as well, at least for visitors like us. Overall, great dining experience, great food quality and service. Absolutely love it.

Came here for a wedding reception and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the food. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were wonderful with trying to keep up with the pace. Overall, would recommend!

Food was very good and nice terrasse.... but.....ordered 1 bottle of wine. No appetizers. 2 meals. Filet mignon and rack of lamb with 1 lobster tailvery bland. Spent over 200$ and waited well over 1 hour for meal to arrive. Not saying it wasn't worth it...but we left still feeling hungry For that price... for two adults, we rather go to Bistro 1843 in Ile bizard and have a 3 course iiincredible meal and bring our own wine

We had the tasting menu and the kids ordered the bavette, duck breast, and poutine. Everything was delicious. We don't speak French but the staff were very nice and spoke enough English for us : The tables were spaced apart well enough and everyone was quite comfortable.

Eric & team thank you for making my day without even realizing what an outstanding job you're doing. We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and the restaurant we had selected fell through. We decided to order appetizers to take out from La Maison Verte and the staff were incredibly friendly and the food, well I'm at a bit of a loss to try to describe the presentation and mixture of flavors that were pure WOW with every bite that I took. We ordered all entrees, seafood platter, house smoked scallops, homemade smoked duck breast, Caesar salad & oysters. Imagine takeout oysters and they were out of this world. Thank you thank thank you for making our 33rd so memorable. We will make reservations and eat in next time. Folks do not hesitate to visit this wonderful Restaurant.

I come with my friend to here for the lunch today. When we arrive, we are very surprised the parking area almost full during the weekday.It’s my third time come this restaurant but I still attracted by its delicacy and beautiful water view. My friend said the foie gras, steak and dessert are very delicious!

We have celebrated our wedding with 52 people last weekend. We were extremely happy with everything and all our guests were super impressed by the food itself. I highly recommend having your wedding here as it is a chic and warm restaurant. They were very accommodating to our many different requests which was also very nice. The owner, Eric, has been very helpful. Their steak, rack of lamb, sea bass and vegan meals were all spectacular.

Fantastic rustic French restaurant right off the highway, nestled into a very unassuming part of town. The restaurant boasts a diverse yet limited menu that caters to both meat and seafood lovers. The service is friendly and fast and the drinks are lovely. The restaurant is within an old home and thus brings with it a level of intimate dining that more modern restaurants don't provide. There is a charm to the lack of out-of-the-way decor that makes you feel like you're dining in someone's house. It is a great choice and the prices are excellent as well.

It is unfair to put this restaurant in the same class as the others it woud require aditional stars or simply a Michelin star to rate it. This is THE BEST restaurant that I know. It is set in a gorgeous old house that is impecably clean. My wife and I took the repas gastronomique with wine. Each course was a flawlessly executed masterpiece paired with a delicious and well selected wine to accompany it. This kind of quality has a price but it is absolutely worth every dollar.

Beautiful gem of a place. The building is cozy and classy. I sat on the second floor terrace. The service was impeccable. So polite and great suggestions too. Delicious food. I ordered pasta and my friend ordered the pork dish. It was all very good. I will definitely be back to try more, even if it was on the pricey side. Totally worth it, two with drinks was about 80$
