Love this place, I’m ashamed I haven’t reviewed it sooner! my family and I were introduced to this place many years ago and now its the main place we go to when we celebrate a birthday in the family! the prices are a bit high comparing to the grocery store cakes but you’re paying for quality, it’s unmatched. The taste, the designs, the customer service you are treated with is absolutely fantastic my husband and I have eaten in store as well, they have great food inside and many wonderful choices to choose from. Their pizza was Divine! And for after if you don’t want a whole cake they have individual choices in which we sometimes treat ourselves too, their cheesecake is to die for and so are many of their other options! 10/10 best place to grab a sweet treat in Winnipeg!

A fantastic Italian market. Great gellato and coffee. Cheese and sandwich meat. Excellent bakery with cakes and smaller portions. Great imported products.

Lagrota on Taylor Avenue is a gem! It’s an international grocery, bakery, café, meat market, gelato shop, deli, and more—all in one. The selection of Italian delicacies is incredible, and the variety of cakes is impressive. The coffee was good—not the absolute best—but Kayla, the barista, made the experience delightful with her friendly and attentive service.nnThe produce was fresh, and I loved the wide variety of meats. A standout feature is that they cut fresh chicken, remove the skin, and prepare it just how you like—such great service! The ambience is lively and charming, with green plants adding a refreshing touch and the brick décor giving it a cozy, old-world feel.nnA must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere!
