No complaints about this gym. Dumbbells go up to 125lbs. Huge facility with many classes for you to choose from to keep you engaged during your fitness goals. 4 lane swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, basketball court and boxing bags. It has greatly helped my wife and I in our fitness journey. Give them a try!

They are not accountable of what they say they will do over the phone. Tried 2 times to put account on hold. Still keep charging my acoount. I disputed the charge directly with my bank and closed the membership. They don't care about members to be happy. They just need your money. LA fittnes as a company SUCKS. Other location in Chicago switched off the lights with people still in shower. The manager was never there to explain why this happened. When finally I found the manager , she just ignored me,  pretending that she is busy.

This place is not bad for the price ($30/mo).  Free weights and decent amount of space.  The basketball play here is absolutely dreadful though, people take it way too seriously and a lot of them simply have no class and get into arguments all the time.  Someone should be managing these basketball games, because these 30-some and 40-some-year-olds don't know how to act civilized when it comes to pickup basketball.

Will be trying Lifetime Fitness, especially considering their 50% discount ends today.  See ya later, LA Fitness.

They don't fix what is broken sauna out for 7 months.

I came in the club and John was ready, willing, and highly capable to assist me. He explained to me and showed me how to use the equipment as I didn't know what certain machines was used to target. The gym was full of energy from the patrons and I was very comfortable with my surroundings. I also got a chance to join the Zumba class. My experience at La Fitness was a great way to start my day!! I would recommend this gym to someone that is just getting started on their exercise journey because the staff is so helpful.
