We stumbled upon this place on our Montreal trip, and so glad we did! The Spanish croquettes are so delightful! Very crispy, not oily, delicious filling. You can buy them by half a dozen, and we tried 3 different flavors, one with ham, aged cheddar and piquillos. My personal favorite was the one with piquillos, these peppers are imported from Spain. We also tried the fermented “lemon-aid”, and it was fantastic and so unique. They sell it by a bottle, and you can return the bottle and get a small refund. The owner is passionate about sustainability, all the boxes/containers are recyclable. He was super friendly, and you can tell he puts his heart and soul to his creations. If you are in Montreal, highly recommend checking this place out. They also have a stand at the Jean Talon Market. There is a small patio outside where you can sit. They only accept cash or Canadian debit.
Fresh delicious tasty and friendly enthusiastic staff makes for a fabulous eating experience. Lots of great combinations for croquets to choose from. Our favourites were jamon serrano, shrimp and garlic and crab! Light, not heavy or too filling and crispy without being oily to the touch. Great little afternoon snack!
The first Croqueteria in Montreal! I started coming here in 2019 and I never tried a Croquetas before. They are so flavourful! The owner of the place “Tigre” is also a very passionate cook and a man who loves his community.
Little gem on Park Avenue, I don't know why I waited for so long to try it out! The owners are friendly and passionate! They proposed a large choice of croquetas. For the first time, I ordered a dozen with several flavour. The next time, I will probably order half a dozen of the same flavour, to have a better taste of each one. Nevertheless, it is tasty and delicious!!
The staff was really warm and friendly, the food was good and the taste was something new for me but I liked a lot! My 4 yo child was super happy with some surprises he received Kid-friendliness: They gave stickers and adhesive to mi child
Just tried this place yesterday and definitely coming back! Authentic croquetas just like the ones reminiscent of my trip to Spain a few years ago. The owner is friendly and takes his time explaining the ingredients, you can tell the ingredients and combination are chosen wisely and with passion for food! The inside decor is also very creative. My favorite was the chicken and poblano/corn one but they were all delicious! They are also easy to takeout to have a picnic after. Will be back!
My wife is a croqueta nut so I surprised her and brought her here. 3 of us ordered 18 croquettes total thinking we could have some leftover for the following day but they did not make it : The owner and young lady that took care of us were very easy going and inviting. One thing to note is that they don’t take credit so bring cash but do it because the croquettes are well worth it.
Super croquetas! Better than the many I had in Spain. Fresh, flavourful, and addicting!! I went twice in less than 24 hours. If I lived on du parc ... Hahaa i would probably start open and close for them! Friendly staff, creative flavours, and wow the ginger kombucha! The best I've had. In short, don't think twice. And don't say I'll have two or three. Get six you won't regret it
Excellent little jewell, almost missed. This place was a little surprise of flavor explosion. Since you enter the place you can inmediatly smell the passion and taste in the air. Every flavor is special and savory in its own way and style. My suggestion, ask one of each, it won't disappoint you.
What. A. Gem. Walking in the neighborhood and I noticed Croquettes.... I had to have some. I had to know if they were as tasty as the ones I’ve had in Spain.... and wow! Exceptional. Crispy on the outside, smooth potato with amazing flavors on the inside. The employee there was incredibly helpful on deciding what flavors to get and was generous enough to throw in two dessert ones as well. So sweet and kind and hardworking. Also, while you wait inside, you’ll notice the superb artwork done on the walls and board. All done by the owner’s 13 year old daughter/niece. So talented. I cannot wait to go back when I visit again I wish them only success
