L'Établi brasserie urbaine

Exceedingly long wait. Waitress was surprisingly abrasive. The appetizer took 30 minutes and the mains took 50 minutes. The bill itself took over 10 minutes, and restaurant was not that busy. Food was edible, but lacked taste and overall freshness. We were seated outside on a small street-side patio and could not see our food because there was no lighting. I very rarely give negative reviews, but this experience stood out. Will not return.

I used to come here once a year as this was my favorite restaurant in Drummondville. I always order the nachos whenever we visit but this time they were absolutely awful. The restaurant was understandably busy tonight, but you can tell that whoever made these nachos literally had no care whatsoever and just threw them into an unappetizing mess into the takeout box.nnSadly that was the least of my worries once I noticed there was almost no food in the takeout box! There were virtually no nachos, barely any cheese, no salsa just a few pieces of cut up tomatoes, no guacamola and sour cream both of which used to be included, barely chopped green onions and overall just about 4x less food for what now costs $31! This is absolute robbery and to be quite frank, the worst nachos I've ever ordered from a restaurant.nnAdditionally, this location used to be a nice, quiet, intimate restaurant where you could have a conversation with friends or family. Now, there is music that is extremely loud and you can barely hear what anyone is saying without yelling at each other. You may as well be at a club!

Very good service. Nice ambiance. Decor is beautiful. Food was great.

Sandie was a very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable server. The professional attention she paid to me, her timeliness and appreciation for my patronage were on point.nHowever Judith, the bartender was unkind, unnecessarily suspicious of me maybe because I am not a native francophone? and all ‘round à terrible person who didn’t even save my seat for me when I told her I was going out to smoke or when she saw me dancing, to show appreciation for the musical act.nThe food was very tasty, the atmosphere was sophisticated yet comfortable.nThe band that night was wonderful!

Nietzsche once said: If you come to Drummondville and you don‘t order Ribs and a 1664 at L'Établi Brasserie Urbaine, just leave.
