Amazing! I was looking for a great restaurant in gatineau and found this gem in Chelsea. You really get what you pay for. The atmosphere is awesome. Food is plate licking delicious! We had the braised rabbit and walleye. We will be back.

Celebrated my birthday there. My partner had booked this place as a surprise. Had many vegetarian options as wellmight not be on menu though. Didn’t get to try the desserts as we were in a bit of a rush to get elsewhere. Good quiet romantic spot and would definitely recommend.

From the atmosphere to the plate, including the service, l’Orée du bois provided a stellar experience. The chef showed cooking skills of traditional french recipes to the level of a Michelin starred restaurant at an affordable price.nI strongly recommend and will come back for sure.

There's good food, and then there's great food. L'Orée du Bois is really great food! From the moment we entered this charming place, the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was wonderfully prepared and presented. Excellent wines were paired with each course. Truly a joyful dining experience! We will definitely return; so many menu options we want to explore!!
