We smoke fish & seafood in small batches using artisanal methods and sell fresh fish from sustainable sources.
La Boucanerie Chelsea Smokehouse is a well known, and much loved institution nestled in the beautiful Gatineau Hills with a gorgeous view of the river. It is the only full dedicated smokehouse in West Quebec, and Eastern Ontario. Michael Kaplan a regular customer at the shop took over the business in Sept 2014.
The Boucanerie’s products are among the best in the world, and customers come from far and wide to enjoy the delicious smoked products including: cold smoked Atlantic salmon, sockeye, albacore tuna, steel head trout, scallops and shrimp, salmon jerky plus much more. The shop also stocks over 40 varieties of cheese, most from Quebec, as well as an extensive supply of excellent quality charcuterie, fresh eggs, pasta, sauces, and many other high quality delicious products.
