L'Olympia in Montreal is truly a unique venue with its own distinct vibe. I recently attended the Winter Film Tour hosted by Arc'teryx, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere of the event was elevated by the venue itself, which has a charming and historic aesthetic that feels both intimate and grand.nnThe place is well-known and carries a reputation for hosting private events and special screenings, which adds to its exclusivity. While it doesn't seem to be a typical cinema for regular movie nights, its focus on curated experiences and events makes it stand out.nnIf you're looking for a venue with character and a touch of class, L'Olympia is definitely worth visiting. I think the scene should have been more elevated for everyone in the back on the floor to see better. The view wasnt great and I was just in the middle of the floor. Great place but scene almost same height as the people on the floor. 70$ and barely able too see something wasn't what was I expected :/
Cool venue! Getting inside was smooth and quick. Plenty of security, so felt safe. The balcony has seats and the air was moving! It felt so good given how hot it was outside. Now, I did go downstairs later, and that was HOT. Staff at the bar was quick and friendly. No line even in prime time. Bathroom had plenty of stalls. Didn't have to wait there either. Venue is small enough that all views are good views. Great experience!
Great Venue, beautiful architecture, only thing is the parking lot was asking a lot for 1 1/2 hour show 35$ plus tax
I attended a recent comedy show at L’Olympia Michael McIntyre. The show itself was great, the venue is spacious, very pretty and clean; the seating is ok seats could be a little wider and the view from the balcony is satisfactory. The issue was that the comedian’s voice did not carry well to the balcony where we were seated so we strained to hear I presume the audio is the responsibility of the venue… disappointed.
