Bâtie en 1688, l’Auberge Saint-Gabriel est un lieu chargé d’histoire. Aujourd’hui, cette institution est devenue un haut lieu de la gastronomie québécoise et l’une des destinations les plus tendance de la vie nocturne montréalaise. Alliant convivialité et modernité, l’Auberge Saint-Gabriel abrite un restaurant, un lounge, des salles de réception, un traiteur et une boîte de nuit. Ses propriétaires sont Marc Bolay, Garou et Guy Laliberté.

Very impressed. Lovely old building with a historical background of 300+ years. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the restaurant has been transformed into temporary gift shops for the Christmas holidays. This was my first experience and it was most enjoyable. It is a must-see when the time is right. It's a 5-star!!

Incredible dining experience! Environment and building fits the mood of the food which itself is delicious and prepared with care and professionalism.

Best fish in town, hands down. Atmosphere, service, and a quality menu that cannot be beat. Exceptional wine list too! Great for groups or an intimate dinner for two, this is a must while in the old port. I recommend you go late and stay for the night club, excellent way to kick off a night on the town.

Great ambiance and food. Service is, erm, very relaxed. Expect to be here 3 hours or so, especially if it’s a special night with a set menu. We went for one of the Luminiere festival special dinners featuring a collaboration with a guest chef and it was delicious.

Excellent seafood dinner in an amazing atmosphere.  Felt very safe with covid to eat inside.

Went here with colleagues for our Christmas dinner. It was snowing during dinner and so greatly attributing to the Christmas atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. Great food and an elaborate wine list. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Cornish hen was undercooked and food took way too long. Our waiter was excellent though and there is a nice, small patio.

It is a lovely place with delicious food. Specially Beef Tartare.

Food was amazing and probably the best looking restaurant in Montreal!
