Kyoto Sushi
"KYOTO SUSHI JAPANESE RESTAURANT IS HANDS-DOWN THE BEST SUSHI AND HIBACHI VALUE IN THE METRO AREA. IT'S ONE OF THE FIRST INDICATIONS THAT MINNESOTA SUSHI RESTAURANTS ARE STARTING TO COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER ON PRICE POINTS, WHICH IS GREAT NEWS FOR THOSE OF US WHO WOULD LOVE TO STUFF OUR FACES WITH RAW FISH DAILY. THE ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT LUNCH AND DINNER BUFFETS ARE INEXPENSIVE AND INCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM SUPER WHITE TUNA NIGIRI AND RAINBOW ROLLS TO SOBA NOODLE SOUPS AND SALMON TERIYAKI RICE. WE SUGGEST YOU ENJOY THIS PLACE BEFORE THEY REALIZE THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY GIVING THEIR SUSHI AWAY."

Pretty damn good, no real complaints. This is my first Kyoto, so in the future depending on my other experiences this one may go down a couple notches. The atmosphere was pretty lively yet plenty enough privacy in the sense it was lively to muffle out everything. The menu is rather small and concise for a sushi place, which I actually enjoyed. Didn’t have to look at all the tons and tons of options, it was nice and quick. They don’t have hibachi here but I’m honestly not a fan so whatever. Not exactly the best Sushi I’ve had but certainly above average, the salmon was tender and everything was good. I loved their small fried kitchen “appetizers”/small entrees or whatever. It was very cute and they were all really good. Their deep fried tempura tofu was lovely, nice and firm and still soft and sweet. Salmon terayaki was great, crispy and flaky and full of flavor. Even had some ice cream for dessert. Not bad at all.
I've been to other kyoto sushi and this one is alright. The food sometimes either lack some seasoning or sauce. Sushi was tasty and flavorful. It is clean and neat inside. I would say the bathroom is a bit sticky though. It was busy when I came around lunch, but the servers were quick and attentive. Parking: Right across the restaurant.
Great food! And amazing sushi. Definitely come here for all you can eat sushi. Cost around $32 for all you can eat. Their sushi was fresh. Their non-sushi dishes were not as good as their sushi.Food: 5/5
Very impressive. I had the North Oaks Roll and a few other comon rolls, shushimi and miso. The soup was nothing special, but still ok. The north Oaks Roll was one of the best I've had, it had fresh tuna and salmon and avocado, but was deep fried for a few seconds. Really a great texture and flavor.Food: 4/5
I don't like this place at all. Extremely overpriced and very limited and restricted choices. A beverage is not included in the price. I had edamame, I needed more salt due to the lack, waitress brought salt packages. I ordered Fried rice and asked for hot oil or chili peppers to switch the taste of this sweet fried rice, I was offered Sriracha. Ordered the chicken wings and I received dummies of course. On menu one says 2 wings the other says 3 wings... I received 4 drummies with only 1 being a flat which is my favorite part. Nice size restaurant, nice big comfy booths. Very attentative waitresses, the waitress I had was very good and patient with me, even though I couldn't find satisfaction. What i did enjoy was the spicy salmon roll. I definitely would have been better to go to a buffet though. Lucky you, I won't be back.
The sushi is delicious and the staff are really nice and friendly And the price for all you can it was 31$
This place was busy, 8 of us was here and waited for 45mins. So if you are party of 4 it should be faster since most tables are seats 4 ppl. Food was good, our server was very nice! When there is 6 or more guest %18 tip automatically included to your bill. Over all this was a good experiance for me since it was my first time I would definitely go back, must try green tea and red bean ice cream together .
It was really good there many different sushi and Japanese food options. I’ve definitely been to more up scale places but the prices fit the product. The all you can eat was very nice. Service was amazing. I will definitely be going back sometime soon.
Wanting to visit a family owned business, authentic & kind? Look no further than Kyoto Sushi. Family & friends of my and the owners eat here. The food is great, servers are kind & overall a clean and relaxing environment. I love to eat here!
Avocado was moldy and when I let them know, I was told that it was "just the skin" and that since "the avocados in the back were all good" when she checked, my food was just fine too. More comedic than anything else but still not worth coming back. Save yourselves the trouble.
