Kwan Luck Restaurant

I have been driving by Kwan Luck for probably hundreds of times in the past decade to and from work but never managed to pay a visit. We finally did it this evening. True to all the reviews, the restaurant is truly a classic Cantonese gem that serves up very traditionally and rare old-school dishes that are hard to find nowadays at this price point. The servers are friendly, authentic, attentive and funny, too! They come around every ten minutes or so to change our dishes and help us order more drinks. Every dish was beautifully executed and very tasty without too much sauces. Just right in the seasoning department. The escargot and the oyster dishes where excellent. The fried Shishamo dish was also a super classic. The pig's blood & cilantro congee was refreshing, light and has just the right thickness. Highly recommend if you can get a table.

Great spot for late night eats! Friendly service and the food hits the right spot if you're craving Chinese.

By far one of my fav chinese restaurants in Vancouver. Always have great food and I’m genuinely surprised by how friendly the staff are. They work super hard but are always so nice and fun. Food is quick and delicious. When my boyfriend’s parents visit from Montreal they always request we come back here. Cash only though!

Stopped in for a late night dinner with some friends. Excellent food, great value, and super friendly and welcoming service. Solid vibe in the restaurant on a weekend night as well. Will definitely be back.

Good food, small restaurant but great service and wasn't to busy when we went. Dishes ranged on average $20-30, quite expensive. What we ordered: Family meal - $155 Cream Crab x2 - $30/lb Shrimp EggFooYung Deep fried squid Everything was okay, not amazingly different from any Chinese restaurant. Service was great though, I didn't feel like I felt sick or had to much msg in the food which was great too but overall the bill came out to $415 which is quite pricey for Chinese food but good service and I'd come back for take out.

Fresh seafood and great canto flavours. Not many servers but I can tell that they are hustlers and they are friendly and attentive. They got some specialties on the menu that are hard to find in Vancouver nowadays as well so bonus

Cheating too much on the weight of a crab, waitress claimed for 3 lbs as I knew maximum no more then 2 lbs. It's $30/ lbs, don't want to argue just avoid to order sea food by weight next time.Food: 3/5

Really good food, big portion, good price, really good service. The waitress is the most friendly I have ever seen in a Chinese restaurant. I will go back for sure

This place is just a small little restaurant with incredible Asian cuisine. If your looking for classy/upscale this place isn't for you. Oddly only open from 5pm to 3am. We my girlfriend, 2 step children & I arrived about 4:50. Once the restaurant opened it was packed by 5:30. The food is so good & very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Our bill for 4 was $60 with tip. Stuffed with leftovers to take home

Was shocked at quality of service even when it was super busy, in a good way! And food really fresh and tasty.Food: 5/5
