My son started Kumon when he was 3 yrs old. He is now in 2nd grade and well above his grade level. I am totally committed to the Kumon program not only for his success in math and reading but for the good study habits he has learned . I highly recommend this Kumon centre for all they do to help my son feel confident. From the first day he started school until now, he does most of his work completely independent which is great news for me ! I know from friends not all Kumon centres are the same. My centre is the best ! As someone else said Check it out. Jen G

I came to Kumon while I was in grade 4 for the math program since I couldn't add most one digit numbers without using my fingers. The math program has helped me immensely over the past 4 years. In school I would ask classmates for help, but now they're asking me for help! I left the centre a few months ago due to the fact that the booklets were a tad confusing and I couldn't get past a certain number of pages. I was doing grade 9 math while in grade 8. The staff here are very kind and the program is helpful, but while I was in this program I found it a bit hard to concentrate due to the fact that the other students would talk very loud and wouldn't stay in their seat. The staff were good at trying to get them to calm down but a couple of times I had to ask the kids to be quiet since it was very distracting. I would recommend coming to this Kumon centre as it was ranked the #1 Kumon Centre in North America for the past 2 years.

We registered our child for Kumon approx. 3 years ago, our experience has been amazing! Kumon has given our daughter confidence in both math and reading. Her math skills and grades at school have excelled and she loves it. She enjoys the program and even helps her classmates in school. Staff at the centre are friendly, helpful and supportive, the receptionist greets all the children by name as they arrive. We would recommend the program and the centre to anyone looking to provide their children with a individualized academic program that also develops self learning skills.

We registered our daughter in Kumon Math in grade 5 because we thought the math in elementary school was not rigours or robust enough. We found the Kumon program to be very value added relative to the cost of other programs or the option of a private school. Kumon has given our daughter confidence in math and has helped her develop great study habits. She is currently still in Kumon and in grade 11. This year she has received a medal for highest mark in grade 11 pre- calculus and she also tutors math to fellow students at her high school. Thank you Kumon!

My daughter has been in the Kumon Math Program for eight years. I cannot begin to express how she has benefited from Kumon. Not only is she able to solve math problems well above her school grade level, but Kumon has helped her develop great study habits, independence and confidence. As a result, she does exceptionally well in school. We moved to the area four years ago and have been with the Kumon Math and Reading Centre Surrey-White Rock since then. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and made the transition from our previous Kumon centre seamless. We have also found them to be flexible, understanding and accommodating when life interferes with Kumon scheduling. We highly recommend Kumon and would not hesitate suggesting this Kumon location to others.
