Kroll’s Diner is a 50s-style restaurant serving up German and American dishes since 1972 with locations in Bismarck, Mandan, Minot and Fargo. The restaurant is known for its award-winning Knoephla Soup and hand-scooped shakes and malts. Most often recognized for its Kroll’s Lady characters, the Kroll’s brand is marked by its famous tagline, “Sit Down and Eat!”

Wonderful food! All the regular choices of a usual Diner. The omelets are delicious. The bonus of this place is they have a lot of German options! It's definitely a unique Cafe in that respect. I gave them 5 stars for grape food clean restaurant clean restrooms and good customer service from both the waiters we dealt with. However I would rate their coffee at one star it was pretty tasteless/weak, next time I will save my money and not get coffee.

I ordered take out and they forgot a few of key items. One item I ordered was fleischkuechle. I received ‘german’ fleischkuechle which includes sauerkraut cooked into the meat patty and you can’t just simply take it off. Also the 4 pc chicken was extremely over cooked. I would upload a pic if I could! Once you’re at home a person certainty doesn’t want to drive 6 miles back. Paid over $60 for our meal not impressed. 2/21/2018 6:45pm.

Fast, friendly, and quick. Was in the area on business and needed a quick bite for lunch and I got a good omelet.

The staff is very good and courteous. They had to take care of a bus tour of 34 adults and handled it well. The food was good. The owner came out and talked to us explained the different German foods on the menu. He even brought out a sample of one of the dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I am ever in that town I will be stopping there.
