Lots of Persian foods and groceries. Unlike other Persian supermarkets owner, this one was nice and welcoming. They also closed at 10:00 pm.
It’s an ok place. Prices are at par with most Persian supermarkets. I would have them better review if the quality of their products was better. I bought walnuts from them. I specifically asked for the ones that were refrigerated upon opening them at home I realized that the refrigerated ones are their stale walnuts. Also the walnuts smell like fried onions. Bread was also not the best quality. Customer service is great however, I had high hopes but won’t going back.
A good grocery store for Persian pantries and sweets. The shopkeepers are very friendly and nice. I wish they had some meat selections like ready to bbq kebabs.
I would say this shop among other Persian store is a really nice store, the 'veggie ash' and 'Gheime stew' served by Baran tastes great and it's always fresh. Most of the products here are all fresh, you can also find some other items in this store which you can usually find it fresh in other stores.
Been a customer since day 1. Chat with Baran every time I go in. She makes the best "Haleem"s and veggie "Aashes". Prices are good. I also love the deals on "Kolooche"s. Good customer service which you normally do not experience in Persian Food Stores. I'm a Persian myself but get frustrated with the very poor customer care of 95% of them. Not Koroush though. Keep up the nice job guys :
I ordered online from this place & they overcharged me for some items! I didn’t want to spend my energy to argue over 10$ or so but it seems necessary to me to leave a review here so others get informed. They also put wrong items for me. Instead of chickpea’s flour they put chickpea itself, the package of khakshir was only 100 grams which they charged me for 750 grams & instead of torshi litte they gave me pickles!! So overall it was quite disappointing experience! Not to mention the rude attitude of the delivery person! Not recommended anyway!
I'm so sorry to write this review. I've been vegetarian for the past 16 and a half years. I was enjoying the Gorme Sabzi that I was served by a lady named Baran working at the food section of Super Kourosh for the past few months. Unfortunately, tonight I realized that all this time I was lied to and their food is not vegetarian at all by finding meet in it.
We have been Kourosh super market customer since very first day they started their business. Initially they were great in the area comparing to Avaye Esfehan & Super Khorak and super Zamani, in terms of clean products, freshness, customer service, their food never was great. Neda & Payam & Ali anymore were awesome people. I normally buy Persian rice, bread, yoghurt, cheese, saffron, BB pastry and some Persian traditional stuff from their store. And always their product is fine. Overal, let's be honest, in Bayview Village and North York they are number 1. Always there is room for progress, that's inevitable. Scoring 4/5 because of their cooked food, it is most of the time stale. My advice to managemet ? Forget about serving warm food, I know it is the bread and butter of your business, but it can damage your credit. You shouldn't have a kitchen only because all other Persian stores do. Imagine your store without a kitchen !! I'd say it would become more popular.
Not even 1 star, I purchased kashke bademjan yesterday October 19,22 from Kourosh supermarket, I came home and eat half of it, after few minutes I noticed that there is mold on food on top of it that their design it with walnut, so disgusting and I’m so upset with that supermarket. I try to post the photo that I take.I suggest you don’t buy any food from that place. Make you sick.
It's an Irani food item. You can get some curry and food ready to eat and I like the most some bakery item. Some special cookies have it.
